EP 1 opening bgm is like a fairytale, I hope they use that track a lot throughout the drama. Currently on ep 2, thinking of dropping this because of FL but lemme just hang on for a bit... Okay I'm now on ep 3... did I miss something? ML was ice cold the previous ep and now he's surprisingly awaiting for her messages, smiling at her messages. Color me confused right noww
This was honestly one of the most-chill romcoms I've watched this year. The chemistry of the leads were amazing, no complicated/larger-than-life problems. This drama felt like a warm hug
Your basic run-off-the-mill romcom, with leads who aren't stubborn and resolves issues quickly. I love the ML actor so much so I stuck through this. When you get to the part where they finally get together, you'll be bombarded with sweet kisses here and there. The other two couples could've been written better. I could not stand the FL's female friend.
This was simple, funny, cute, and heartwarming, I really loved it. Would have loved to see more of them in the same room but that's not the whole point of the movie.
Finished it, and I think the romance is a side dish in this one. One thing I loved about it is we get to see firefighters…
Yan Chen! The brother, oh my. Apart from the FL, I'm sure he had one hell of an upbringing too. I felt so sorry for him because he was suppressing everything and then he thought FL was abandoning him, I'm sure he felt he had no one else to turn to. I hoped we'd see more of his post-healing phase because that boy deserved some love and hugs

Okay so once you get past her desperation to get the ML back in like the first 10 episodes, that's where I started loving this drama more. I thought I wouldn't make it to the last episode because there were so many! However, the pacing was good because there's a lot of disasters and accidents and cases that filled the drama. At first, I hated how the FL still didn't have the courage to face her mother more than halfway through the show, but looking back now, I understand that change comes slowly and she still respected her parents immensely.
Finished it, and I think the romance is a side dish in this one. One thing I loved about it is we get to see firefighters in action because in dramaland we usually get every other profession, here we get to be more in depth with what it entails and the struggles and brutality they are risking their lives for. This show felt like an advertisement to recruit firefighters and I am all for it. I commented yesterday that I hoped to see a positive character arc for the FL and it gave me that (I give her growth a 6/10). Imo, the character I would give the biggest applaud to is the brother, Yan Chen.
Every single character from this show was significant to the plot and brought a lot to the table. What an amazing cast and crew.
Currently on ep 7 and I like how the FL's personality is heavily caused by the environment she grew up in, you can see how unsure she is at every little thing and is a pushover when it comes to family that one would easily think she has no backbone at all. I hope her character development would be positive. She's relatable for someone her age, I don't know how to explain it but maybe because I can relate to her, I'm sure others can too. I like the start of this show.
Also, I knew I was getting Yang Yan but also Bin Bin on the side?!!!!
Yes , i feel deel the same. I couldnt get over it. Can you rec9mmend something else .
I haven't watched too many cdramas yet to recommend something that is impactful as this but My Little Happiness and Hi Venus are ones that I keep coming back to. The drama Love Scenery is also on my top 5!!
I actually loved the drama. Of course I noticed all its downsides. From the plot, acting, exaggeration and all.…
I recommend the app Shazam! Whenever I like the soundtrack playing, I just open the app and it will listen to the song and the title and artist will pop up within 5seconds.
This was a fun watch. Like everybody else said, FL was not giving anything throughout the whole show, I wonder if this would've been much better with a different FL tho? Even Xu Kai gave more expressions with just his eyes.
100/100 YES. I came to watch this drama 2 months ago when I was really in a bad place mentally and it really became one of my healing factors. The setting, the characters, the whole vibe of this was just 💖 Ngl I am a big romance girl so at the start I was waiting for when they were going to start their romance and boy was I in for a ride. Slice of life is what this drama is. Think of Hometown Cha3x but expanded to accommodate more characters and more episodes.
Don't think too much watching this, just sit back and enjoy the sceneries, and listen to their struggles. You might relate to one of them like I did.
Watching this made my introverted a** go some place new, and meet strangers.
I liked the ML here so much that I watched his drama with Zhao Lusi. All I can say is he got better at acting in this one. This drama is one of those that had so much potential but never truly got to satisfy me but nonetheless it satisfied my teenage girly side, especially that vending machine scene. FL really could've used more kisses tbh. Liu Te is like an anime character come to life, his build whoa
