I agree with everything except Hom and Peak. That was completely the wrong time and place to have that conversation. Her mom is very sick and dying and he pulls her away from her mom stealing precious moments that Hom could and should be spending with her mom when she might have very few moments left with her. And he does this just to tell her that he knows he was wrong in the past, that his feelings haven't changed and that he will wait till he is grown up enough to be with her. His actions in pulling her away from her mom are wrong and the fact that he thought that was an appropriate time for that conversation shows he is not yet grown up enough. I lost a loved one to cancer and if someone had did to me what Peak they would have gotten a permanent rejection as in never in this life. And I might also have to reconsider even being friends with that person. There is a right time and place for that conversation and that was not it. But despite that I steal really loved the episode and the entire series. Really not ready for it to end next week.

I believe it's his dad. His dad is supposed to show up because of the situation with his mom. Plus right before it shows Eiw talking to him it shows another scene where Eiw is with his siblings and the man walks up and they ask what he is doing there and he says he knows it's his fault what happened to their mom. So pretty sure it is their dad.

I see they break up in episode 21 but in what episode will they get back together?

Does it give any clues in the trailer when they will get back together?

This episode made me feel lot's of emotions. I was happy and smiling with Cake and Eiw's lovely boyfriend moments. Jealous Cake is something else, when he told Eiw not to get close to Pu and Pu said he didn't have rabies I had to laugh. And when Cake kept shouting out that he loved Eiw at Uni I was giggling like a little kid. Cake loves Eiw and he is not ashamed or afraid to admit it and tell every one. I LOVE IT!!!

Then I was sad, a mess and needed lots of tissues when it got to Eiw's mom. Poor Eiw felt so guilty and blamed himself for not going home more. And you could see it on Cake's face that he too felt guilty because he was the reason Eiw hadn't been going home. I just wanted to hug them both. I am glad and loved the fact that Eiw didn't blame Cake. And the talk Eiw's mom had with him and asking Cake to take care of Eiw was both touching and sad.

But the whole Peak Hom conversation had me upset and to be honest a little angry. Peak what was that? WRONG TIME WRONG PLACE BUDDY!!! I have lost a loved one to cancer and I was with them in their final days and moments. And if someone had pulled me away from them just to give me a love confession I would have been VERY ANGRY!!! You want to be a supportive friend? Cool. A shoulder to cry on, someone to comfort me and listen if i need to let my feelings and frustrations out? Also cool. But if you pull me away from my sick possibly dying loved one stealing precious moments that could be spent with them just to declare your feelings for me? You will get a permanent rejection as in never in this life. And also quite possibly a never come near me again I want nothing to do with you from now on. There is a right time and place for such conversations but that was not it.

But despite that one scene I really loved the episode, the entire series actually. It is my favorite series airing right now . One more episode left and I know it will be sad, at least part of it but hoping for a happy ending for Cake and Eiw or at least as happy as it can be considering the situation. Really not ready for this series to end. I know as soon as it finishes airing I will go back and watch it all over from the beginning.

It hasn't ended yet, and yes it is only 14 episodes but only 12 have aired. Episode 13 will air today and the last episode will air next Friday. 14 episodes airing only 1 episode per week will run for 14 weeks. It started airing August 12th from then till today is 13 weeks and next week will be week 14. I know it seems like a long time but it's run time is exactly right.

Ahh got it now. Now I understand why you pity her, and I agree. This could have been the perfect opportunity for her to be a good person but she definitely did not take it. Asking Xiao Ran to give Shang Qi to her or share him what was that? There are still quite a few episodes left so maybe there is still hope for her?

And that's true that Xiao Ran was always finding out from other sources. It just bugged me because he told Xiao Ran that he didn't tell her about the wedding planning and Fei'er coming to his room because he was worried she would overthink and misunderstand. But she found out anyways and ended up overthinking and misunderstanding and thought he was trying to hide it from her.

And true he didn't have time or a chance to tell her about walking Fei'er down the aisle. But I know it came as quite a shock to Xiao Ran and the guests didn't help either talking about how goof Shang QI and Fei'er looked together walking down the aisle. And he is trying I can tell that he has been trying to put a distance between him and Fei'er and cancelling meetings just to spend time with Xiao Ran but because of his family's business he is backed into a corner really and has to run when she calls and do what she wants and she has definitely been taking advantage of that.

I have a feeling hard times are coming for Xiao Ran and Shang Qi but I believe it will all work out. And yes Fei'er could have been so much more and maybe there is still a chance for her? Thanks for the discussion!!

I agree with you mostly. I agree with everything you said about Xiao Ran and Shag Qi and even Zhao, but not about Fei'er. Of course everyone has their own opinions and sees things differently and I respect your opinion but for me I don't really feel much pity for Fei'er I just feel disgust.

You are right that she did take every wrong turn to escape her horrific family and I can understand her wanting to escape that. She didn't ask to have that family and I do feel sorry for her for that. But just because she has a horrible family and she wants to escape doesn't give her the right to be horrible and use and mistreat other people just to get what she wants.

She lied to Zhao about her entire life and background. And even though I know and understand why she did it and Zhao is an asshole so I kinda want to give her a pass for that. But lies never stay hidden forever so did she really think she could get away with it and hide it forever? But Zhao used her too as you said just to win against Shang Qi.

But putting aside that, she has been using Shang Qi for years. She knew he liked her and she didn't like him but she just kept stringing him along knowing that he would always come running. She told Xiao Ran that she didn't like Shang Qi and was just using him. She knew Xiao Ran liked him and told Xiao Ran that she didn't want him but didn't want Xiao Ran to have him either just wanted him to stay by her. That is so selfish.

And she takes every opportunity she gets to throw it in Xiao Ran's face that Shang Qi used to love her constantly reminding Xiao Ran of Shang Qi's past with her. Taking Xiao Ran back to the college to take graduation pictures? Seriously? That was a bad day and a bad memory for Xiao Ran. She was alone on the real graduation because Shang Qi and Fei'er went overseas without telling her. She thought Shang Qi left because of her confession and he left with Fei'er so she probably thought they were a couple. And they took her back there to be reminded of that awful time? And how could Shang Qi just go along with it? How did he not realize how unhappy Xiao Ran was about that?

Then making sure Xiao Ran saw Shang QI's time capsule wish which of course was about Fei'er. Then texting and telling Xiao Ran that Shang Qi got drunk because someone mentioned his past crush on her and he got sad? And even told Xiao Ran that if Shang Qi had never loved her he wouldn't be able to love Xiao Ran now? She is trying to stir up doubt and insecurities in Xiao Ran and cause problems between her and Shang Qi and she is succeeding. She is just horrible and despicable.

And honestly Shang Qi isn't much better. He hides things from Xiao Ran and ends up causing misunderstandings and problems. Such as not telling her that he was planning Fei'er's wedding or that Fei'er had came to his room. And then at the wedding walking Fei'er down the aisle without letting Xiao Ran know first. And then Xiao Ran was knocked down and even hurt her wrist but Shang Qi ran to Fei'er first picked her up and carried her out and left Xiao Ran there on the floor. What kind of boyfriend does that? He keeps being involved and mixed up with the woman he used to love, and that woman keeps reminding Xiao Ran of the past no wonder Xiao Ran is insecure and hurt.

I know that Shang Qi had to plan the wedding and be involved with her because of his family, And Xiao Ran knows that too but that doesn't make it hurt less when she has to see the man she loves and has loved for so many years still go running to Fei'er like he always has. Yes he has tried to keep a distance and keep it professional with Fei'er but it didn't really work well. Now he has FINALLY made it clear and drawn a line between him and Fei'er but is it too late? Whether it is because of the interference from Fei'er or the fact that he can't leave Hupu or maybe both I agree with you that there will be a breakup coming.

Yes they definitely saw it and the shop owner was right he might have to prepare a shoulder for Tal to cry on. I hope Tal doesn't do that. That would be a really mean and bad thing to do to Eiw and Cake who have been best friends their whole lives. If he tries something like that Eiw shouldn't even be his friend anymore. But I don't think or at least I hope even if he tried to, it wouldn't work. I don't know if Tal tries to do that in the novel, but even if not they could change it for the series, but I really hope not. Like you said he had 4 years while Cake was gone to try to get something going with Eiw and he did nothing. But I guess now that Cake is back and Tal realizes Cake also has feelings for Eiw he will now try to do something. But whatever he does or says won't work Cake and Eiw will end up together in the end.

I LOVED episode 10. I really loved Cake in this episode. You could tell he was happy to be with Eiw again. The way he looked at Eiw and smiled. At the bus stop, when they were cuddling and later on the bus he looked like he was in heaven to be back with Eiw. But you could tell he was really bothered about Tal. The look in his eyes whenever Tal was involved said it all. Loved seeing jealous Cake and wonder if he has realized his true feelings for Eiw yet. If not I'm sure it will be soon.

Not looking forward to episode 11 though. Poor Cake is gonna be upset and crying. Thinking he isn't important to Eiw anymore and not needed. Feeling like he doesn't fit into Eiw's life anymore. Eiw changed and became this different person because of Cake. Cake asked Eiw to join a club, make new friends and come out of his shell. And even Eiw's brother told him he needed to change because he needed to be a different better person when Cake returned, so Eiw made these changes. And even though Cake did suggest these changes to Eiw now that Eiw has changed it is making Cake feel not needed. And Tal being around and close to Eiw isn't going to help. I hope it doesn't drive Cake and Eiw apart, even though I know in the end it will work out. But I am not prepared for more angst and hurt.

Can we just get to the confession already? LOL!! I know there are still 4 episodes left so the confession won't happen yet. But seriously hope it happens before the final episode.

They were sleeping together and cuddling at 15 years old. And their parents did know and didn't seem to mind. Because Eiw's brother (who is an adult) walked in and saw them cuddling once and so did Cake's mom and neither said anything or fussed about it. I think maybe it is because the parents are really close friends and Cake and Eiw have been together literally since they were born and have always been close, sleeping together,cuddling and even bathing together(when young). So compared to 15 them sleeping together and cuddling at 18 or 19 is really nothing.
