Why would anyone have to pay for a year subscription? It's a monthly subscription $7 a month. All you would have to do is keep the subscription until the series finishes airing then cancel it. You don't have to keep the subscription for a year.

It wasn't just because Ida teased him. Aoki thought Ida did it to make fun of him not just friendly teasing or like you would tease your significant other. And the reason Aoki felt like that is because he was unsure of Ida's feelings.
And it's not that teasing means you don't like someone. But Ida repeatedly told Aoki he didn't even know if he liked him but yet he was dating him. That made Aoki confused and insecure. To him the teasing and dating was just a joke, a way for Ida to make fun of him. Yes he jumped to that conclusion, but it wasn't entirely his fault. If Ida hadn't taken so long to figure out his feelings and make them clear then Aoki wouldn't have been confused and insecure and he wouldn't have jumped to conclusions.
Viki isn't available in all countries and regions. And even in some where it is available it isn't free. Where i live i get Viki but have to pay for Viki standard pass to watch. I agree he did seem to be the only one who noticed. He was the only one of Ida's friends who had realized Ida and Aoki's relationship until the other one's saw them holding hands. Toyoda seems like a good friend to Ida there for him when he needs him and offers advice when needed.
