You are right Hira definitely has issues he needs to work on. He needs to get more self esteem and believe in himself more. He is very dense lol!! And most people might have given up on him by now i'm glad Kiyoi hasn't and doesn't. They are what each other needs. They can help each other. Hira can show Kiyoi that it's ok to be vulnerable sometimes and let your feelings be shown. And Kiyoi can help Hira believe in himself and make him realize he is worthy and does deserve to be loved. I'm excited and curious to see Kiyoi's pov and to see how they will end it.

I am also really enjoying the show but do think it would have been better with either more episodes or a longer runtime. I know this might sound a little weird but i am worried about the sex scene their first time. Obviously they can't adapt it the way it was written. But from my understanding of the novel it is very important. It is when Hira finally realizes and understands Kiyoi's feelings. And Kiyoi also knows Hira's. I hope they can do it justice.

If you mean with subs it's because they haven't been subbed yet. Only up to episode 5 has been subbed. The subber said she has had a lot going on so she got behind on subbing. But is currently working on episode 6. Hopefully she will have it done soon. Unfortunately all we can do is wait. She posts on her twitter when she gets done subbing an episode.

Oh i know that wasn't the only hint. The only point i was trying to make is how was Hira who has such low self esteem going to pick up on that hint or any hint. He obviously isn't he never has. He has it in his head that Kiyoi could never like him and it could never be. And he can't or won't allow himself to believe it could be true. For him he probably just thought that all those hints were just Kiyoi teasing him. And yes Kiyoi doesn't like showing his true feelings which doesn't help the situation. Because for Hira who has very little self esteem/appreciation it's going to take more than hints for him to realize it and believe it. I'm ready for Kiyoi's point of view to see exactly what he is thinking and feeling. And what he is going to do to finally get Hira to notice and believe his feelings. Only 2 episodes left don't know how they are going to pull it off but we will see.

I definitely would not kiss someone i hate. Even if i didn't hate them but didn't have special feelings for them i still wouldn't kiss them. Of course i know why K kissed H. But for H with his self esteem wasn't going to think that K liked him especially after shoving him to the ground as you said he probably thought it was out of pity. And i agree K absolutely likes H he has dropped some hints here and there that were clear to us but of course H isn't going to pick up on it. His self esteem is so low he doesn't think he is good enough or worthy of K. Or that K would ever like him he even said himself he didn't expect anything to ever happen between them. K is going to have to work harder than that to make it clear to H and make him believe it.

Yeah i don't really get why they did that. Just made us have to wait longer for episode 9. But finally episode 9 airs today. Of course some still have to wait for subs but hopefully not that long.

Oh well no it is a BL. And i know what the title means but i tried to explain that earlier he thought she was his first love which is why its named that. That explanation i got from the manga. Or at least thats what i understoit to mean. And there are multiple English translations for this drama they have them all listed up above. So if there is more than one translation for it then all of them are correct. But as you said that isnt the point. And i guess your right that would be invalidating people's feelings but Aoki made the choice not to confess. And since he likes Ida so much i dont think hes going to have regret he doesn't seem to. And sometimes after a confession you can remain friends but not always. Sometimes it gets awkward and uncomfortable. Especially if the person you confessed to likes and starts dating someone else. It can make it hard for the person who confessed. But thats just my opinion. But i can understand that being your first impression not having read the manga and not being aware it is a BL. Maybe it did seem fast but they have to fit the manga into 10 short episodes so that makes a difference too. Anyways i love this drama hopefully as you continue watching you will enjoy it as well.

Well it's following the manga which is a BL. And this drama is only 10 episodes. So of course they are going to spend more time on Aoki and Ida's relationship since this story is mainly about them. And less time on his past feelings for Hashimoto and him confessing or pursuing her. And it showed that Aoki is a good guy. He did like her but he knew she liked someone else and he cared about her enough to want her to be happy even if it was with someone else. Which is why he was trying to get Ida to date her before he found out that it was Aida not Ida that she liked. And he still supported her and encouraged her after finding out that she liked Aida. If he had confessed knowing that she liked someone else honestly he would have been kind of selfish.He would have only been thinking about himself and not her. Because with her not liking him, if he confessed it might have made her feel uncomfortable and made things awkward between them and maybe even affected their friendship. What he did was selfless putting his feelings aside and thinking about her and what she wanted and what would make her happy. Plus there is more than one title for this drama actually Vanishing My First Love Is One and My Love Mix Up is the other most commonly used title. On Viki it is listed as My Love Mix Up.

Vanishing My First Love- He is saying goodbye to Hashimoto who he thought was his first love.

My Love Mix Up- He thought Hashimoto was his first love when his first love is actually Ida.

Hashimoto even points out herself the fact that Aoki got over her and fell for Ida so fast proves that he is more serious about Ida than he was about her.

Same, waiting for the subs is torture lol!! But it is always worth it when get to see it.

Well he knew she liked someone else so of course he didn't confess to her he knew he would get rejected. And that's probably also why he was able to switch his crush so fast because he knew he had no chance with her. Plus if he could switch that fast he probably didn't like her as much as he thought he did.

Well he is new at acting it's his first ever role. Not everyone can be perfect the first time they do something. But if never given the chance they will never get any better either. With time he may get better.

You are lucky i can only get the first 2 episodes on Viki. The other episodes say watch with Viki pass which i don't have and can't get. But it also says available in 28 days. So maybe after 28 days they will be available without Viki pass. But either way i get to watch it just fine and download it from the fan subber. But i wanted to watch it on Viki as well and support because it is an official streaming service. But oh well.
