enjoyed this episode a whole lot more than the last three. although the first 2 episodes are by far my favourite, episode 6 is somewhat on a similar level!
Everybody Loves Me When I'm Dead is an emotional watch that highlights the trials and tribulations of the working class that might push them down dangerous, immoral and illegal routes. The film brings out some important points, but will feel a bit too lengthy at times. Some twists are obvious and tropey and don't create the necessary impact. It's a mixed bag for me, but I guess it's worth a one-time watch.
so you're telling me that the people who meticulously planned everything didn't plan on a verification check of…
That would be very interesting to be honest. Looking forward to see that. But the actor, I meant, is hilarious. I haven't seen him play such an eccentric part before this.
Finished watching this some time back and had a blast. It's a bit too long and convoluted, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the lack of the supernatural aspect being explored more, but the storyline itself is quite hard-hitting, and it's difficult not to root for the two mothers in the middle of this craziness. The performances are great as well, so if you like watching hard-hitting and twisted crime-thrillers, this might interest you.
It's a mixed bag for me, but I guess it's worth a one-time watch.
