1. This has the same message as the movie and book.2. This is more of a romance, the girl dates her neighbor,…
Thank you! I really enjoyed the drama as well! It keeps on crossing my mind LOL, but I just had to compare it to the movies and notice how different it was.
Alright, so if anyone is here from the movie. I'll have a reply below me marking how different this drama is.Its…
1. This has the same message as the movie and book. 2. This is more of a romance, the girl dates her neighbor, the second lead gets a girlfriend, etc. 3. The antagonist gets the same ending, she's just as horrid as in the movie except with a bit more emotion. 4. We don't get the most impactful thing from the movie of books. The FL never tries to kill herself or say the words "You are the ones who killed me.". The drama is more focused on the romance side of stuff. 5. The society in the drama isn't as judgmental since everyone is adults, not high school kids. So only the antagonist really gets on the FL's bad side. 6. The sister still dies, but the FL is never framed. 7. The FL in this drama isn't broken like the old one. She's fiery and talks back. 8. This just didn't feel like the same story. It was indeed a tear gusher, but it was still more lighthearted. Its a bit draggy, but picks up a lot in the last ten episodes. Its not a drama about societies judgement and a broken girl like the movie or book had. Its more about a girl who knows that no matter what, the people who love her will be there for her when she makes it through to the end. 9. The romance... there is really good chemistry between the leads which we didn't get in the movie because of how short it was. Also, the ML didn't like the sister in this version, the only girl he ever liked was the FL. 10. Kinda tons of useless side characters that make the story way more cheerful then its supposed to be LOL 11. sML is way less mature and way more aggressive and thick-headed then the thoughtful and loving sML we met in the movies. 12. Everyone gets a "omg pity me" redemption arch. Yes. Even *that* biatch. 13. Yes, the FL thought she was pregnant. But she wasn't. She also has no STD's. Everything was just a misunderstanding. So its more dramatic then tragic compared to the book and movie. I guess the writers wanted her to be "flawless" so she could be in a relationship with the ML and also take away one of the big factors of her suicide.
Alright, so if anyone is here from the movie. I'll have a reply below me marking how different this drama is. Its still a beautiful drama, and the chemistry between the main leads is to die for!
I just watched ep 1. I can't tell, did he like her for real? Or really just see her as a friend? I'm just really bad at reading emotions and I feel like that's an important part of the drama so send help-
I know that everyone hates Jung Kyung, but honestly I love how she's a grey character, neither good nor evil...…
She's very... real and raw. She makes mistakes like a real human being, doesn't know what she wants, regrets her actions, wants to break free but is still held back, and is stubborn enough to not fix all her mistakes. Its very hard to like her, but I can empathize with and understand where she is coming from.
