Just finished ep 8. I really really really want the father to find out next week.

This drama would get burned to the ground if it actually happened.

I get his mom developing feelings for him. Like she doesn't know who he is. All she knows is that there's an attractive young man who is protecting her all the time. I'd fall for him too. It's fine as long as the drama doesn't go down the route where he likes her back.
The drama is set in 2020, I'd say we're near August rn. The FL travelled forward one year in time when she fell off the roof (the bad guys card was activated and it saved her). In 2020, October, he was murdered. So FL in 2021 is finding out that he's been dead for a year.

LMAO. I like dailies and lakorns cuz they feel so nostalgic somehow. BUT OH MAN, I never get used to the helicopter parents.

The leads acting is a bit iffy, and the plot is that of your typical makjang except its a bit darker and feels less like it was created in the 2010's (lots of makjangs feel old to me... idk why LOL)

Ugh, I get that the directing is a bit confusing. Like we have all the typical romantic scenes. Like, everyone thinks he likes her, he makes her laugh, he saves her...
But just no. He DOESN'T like her, she DOESN'T like him.

OMG I can't wait too. I never thought how the Chairwoman would react once she found out the truth... imagine if she suddenly wanted her grandchild back.

WHY would they want to see the two end up together. I'd be so horrified if that actually happened. :/

- I've seen comments saying "But she should have picked it up anyways, what if it was Hyun Su?!" But what if it wasn't? And how would she know if he even had access to a phone, let alone would call her?

I've also seen comments saying that she should have told Hyun Su about the plan. Uh... how? She has no flipping clue where he is. And no, she can't have the news or something broadcast a secret message or whatever cuz, 1) They don't have a secret message/code lmao, 2) SOMEONE would figure it out, and also, just broadcasting something like that could ruin the plane, 3) How would she even know that he has access to the news and stuff?

Hmmm, tbh, his looks and acting are not my style. But, I've watched many of his dramas and they don't bother me. His acting is a bit soft? I really can't describe it with words LOL. His projects wouldn't be the first thing that I'd choose if I chose dramas based off of looks and acting (I don't) - I hope that makes sense.
I think what bothers me is his choice of dramas. I just personally never felt any sort of connection with the projects that he chose. They felt a bit... bland to me? None of his projects drew me in, so I started associating him with not interesting dramas. LOL

Honestly. Its a hit or miss. It was a miss for me, I just don't like dramas from this genre in general. Its targeted at mostly young females, and even though I fit that description I never really like the concept of rich arrogant boy, poor feisty girl. Boy candy. Agressiveness... etc.
Looking at your watchlist, you seem to like a thrill. This drama won't give you a thrill. It gives off a sort of wattpad vibe, if you're into just good old-school romance, go for it!

His ex-gf accused him of alleged abuse. I believe that he admitted to some of it before it came to light that most of his gf's accusations were false. I think she actually ended up in jail for all of her false claims.

V.I.P. it has the same aesthetic vibe and mysteries. It also shows you how much in love a couple can be while still hiding secrets from each other.
The acting is just as good, and we have characters that are really similar to all the different detectives in this drama.

That's true, especially now that we've seen just how meticulous she is. My one question is, did he spare Eun Ha cuz she didn't see him? Or cuz he didn't see her.
