I just watched ep 1. I can't tell, did he like her for real? Or really just see her as a friend? I'm just really bad at reading emotions and I feel like that's an important part of the drama so send help-
I know that everyone hates Jung Kyung, but honestly I love how she's a grey character, neither good nor evil...…
She's very... real and raw. She makes mistakes like a real human being, doesn't know what she wants, regrets her actions, wants to break free but is still held back, and is stubborn enough to not fix all her mistakes. Its very hard to like her, but I can empathize with and understand where she is coming from.
I really really like the gentle mellow relationship between SS and GJ. But that whole part, ep 3, where those…
OMG, they always brush off the drugging and rape. Like wtf?? Its not something that you use as a plot device and then rush past. I really hate how almost every thai drama that I've watched has something like this. I'm fine with you using this as a plot device as long as you address the issue and don't romanticize the after effect. But they never do that. Its always covered up by the character being saved by their future partner, lovey dovey you saved me moment, forgive the culprit, maybe give culprit sad backstory, the end.
also am I the only one who feels like the characters have zero personality?
Omg I thought I was the only one. I just think that they're all such cookie cutter characters that its very hard to give them real human emotion. The actors are already new to the industry so giving them such bland, tasteless, and stiff character must've just completely stumped their growth.
Doesn't mean I'm not gonna watch it tho LOL, BL is BL.
@linnku There is ONE that I know of but I don't remember the name. All that I know is that its about a one night stand and was produced by StrongBerry so if you google their YouTube acc you'll prolly find it LOL
HE FINALLY FOUND OUT AND IM CRYING. LIKE WTF, IMAGINE FINDING OUT THAT YOU WERE TRYING TO KILL YOUR SON AND THAT THE WOMAN YOU LOVED HAD DIED A LONG TIME AGO.
Hahah my words :) That's why I've started watching it yesterday - well what can I say, I've just finished the…
Its cuz people expect a story to be shrouded by all of their expectations, morals, wants, and fantasies... Ignore them, one day they'll have to realize that not everything will go their way in life and that by judging a few character who aren't real, they're making themselves more ignorant to the ways of the world and are adding on to the stigma and stereotyping about relationships.
SBS really messing up this years, aren't they? xD First Backstreet rookie and now this... They might need to revisit…
Omg yes the minor sexualization and disrespect shown to women in the drama were the first warning signs for me. When the joke about the black man's CULTURALLY IMPORTANT AND RESPECTED hair was made in a very derogatory way I was like "Yeah... I'm good, maybe if it gets better"

I haven't watched all of backstreet, I remember putting it on hold right after the scene with the black man's braids being made into a joke :/ Is that what the controversy is about? Or was there something else.
That was my feeling too. This is supposed to be a simple run of the mill light bl so I don’t have a lot of expectations…
My sentiments exactly ; v ; Especially after I got those amazing vibes from Where Your Eyes Linger, I was a bit surprised. Because to my understanding, Mr. Heart and Eyes Linger are sort of connected? Like by production staff etc. So for this 180 turn around to full out... I don't know how to describe it, I guess "silly tone" would be a good way really shocked me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PBWUVcgPsY&feature=youtu.be SBS went into damage control mode LOL. WHY... WHO TOLD YOU... IN WHAT WORLD DID YOU THINK GIVING THE FL THE SAME FACE AS THE ML'S MOM WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA? I get that this probably will not end up having romance, but they keep on hinting at it which is just as bad :') Ignoring that and the crowds of people who are determined to paint this as an incest when it seems like the drama is desperately trying to avoid that... I'm enjoying Alice! LOL

And Hi Bye Mama was just a roller coaster ; v ;
