On Ossan's Love Returns Jan 6, 2024
Finally, after five years of waiting we have the real sequel to "Ossan's Love"!
The love triangle is already there. Haruta Soichi, always kind, confuses Kurosawa and he (re)falls in love with him. Of course, it is absurd. If Kurosawa made their lives difficult, how can they invite him to enter their lives once again? Soichi even gave him the key to the house, since cleaning, cooking, etc. is supposed to be done. he will make them while Maki and Soichi work. Maki objects, but coldly. We must give space to humor and witticisms, which would not occur otherwise.

I thought about the same ending about Mohk giving his corneas to Day, but if he would tell Day about if for sure…
Of course: Night feels guilty. It's understandable. Day is the one who is wrong to blame him for “wanting to steal what is mine from my swords.” Giving him his corneas is for me the greatest proof of love between two people. The phrase "he gave me his heart" would perhaps reach its true meaning. The question would not be what I as an audience or as a follower of an actor would prefer to happen or not happen to that actor. I am referring to love itself. Let's hope That the creators “take out” from under their sleeve is more than emotional, it is logical.

Agree that the rooftop scene was a beautiful moment and would have been the perfect setting for Sprite to confess.…
I don't think there is anything to forgive Sprite for. He acted to help his twin. Falling in love comes later. It wasn't planned. His actions have ultimately helped the team. It hasn't been a drag. Yes, Sprite should have confessed right then and there. Then they will be caught by surprise and have to confess the deception in front of everyone, but only to give tension to the series.
I liked Sprite's answer to First. It wasn't direct. As an audience, we know what Sprite means with his response, but this must have left First many more doubts than certainties, but he was satisfied. Confirmation of this was the next act.

What I understood (its only my opinion), he was bad because he was partying and drinking while Day was a "good…
Hello. You are right. They imply that because he drank and partied, he was the ugly duckling, while Day was a "good son" for the reasons you so accurately state. The creators precisely thought of demonstrating “the change” in Night when a girl invites him for a drink and he rejects it. If he no longer drinks or goes to parties, what is he doing in that place? I wonder. How did the father know about his refusal to drink and party, if it wasn't because he told him himself? Note: I'm not blaming anyone for anything. What I'm trying to say is that these are details that the creators of the series cannot ignore if they intend to tell a credible and well-polished story. If the two brothers were two opposite poles, they would not have a good relationship prior to the accident, as was evident in the episode that they do or did have. The level of communication, the respectful treatment between the two (even when one of them was drunk) when they met at the bar, the way in which Night introduced Day to the people at the bar, demonstrate the trust, the camaraderie of the two. siblings. Someone from the bar allegedly tracked Day down to pick up his drunk brother. And he went to pick him up to bring him home safe and sound. This fact alone demonstrates the close bond between them. That's why I find it unusual that after the accident Day's position changes and blames his brother for the accident or something worse, like "He wants to steal my mother's love." Of course, Night's behavior is to blame himself for the accident and Day's blindness. This shows that he is not an ugly duckling. On many occasions it was implied that Night needed to talk to Day.
Day was the one who always denied him this possibility. If they had both spoken, it wouldn't have been their father who told Day that Night blamed himself for what had happened. Day is, in my opinion, the one who has had a negative attitude in this sense both in denying his brother the possibility, even the right, to speak to him and express his feelings, and in blaming his brother. Of course, we will see that sincere conversation between Night and Day soon. I wait her.
You're absolutely right: Day's mother was deeply hurt because her husband abandoned her for another woman. But her husband tried to see their children and she prevented him. She has no right to deprive the father of his children or the children of their father. History avoids telling this, but if the father had taken the case to trial, I have no doubt that the court would rule in his favor, despite having broken up with his wife. What do Thai laws say about this? The series shows that he always tried to contact his two children. She forced her children not to have any contact with their father. She divorced her husband and in turn divorced her children from their father by forcing them to have no contact. Night managed to somehow communicate with his father. He built a bridge. Day was unaware that they communicated. Couldn't the reason Night was drinking be because he knew he was a member of a dysfunctional family? Wouldn't it be because of the mother's selfishness? I am not a child in the same situation, but I understand, from my profession, that there is always another side to the story.

i think some people are not understanding this beef day has with night. obviously, it's not night's fault that…
Day should blame no one but himself for the accident. Much less blame his brother for "stealing what is mine", as if his mother's love belonged only to him, as if his brother does not have the right to the same love. Day himself understands that his brother is not to blame for the accident, as he told Mhok. His character in this regard is not well designed, because then he jumps to blaming him for "stealing what is mine behind my back." Anyway, he needs to blame someone. And the blame fell on the brother, just for vomiting in the car.

Hello. It would be a true demonstration of love if Mohk gave his corneas to Day. I see no reason why one should ask for permission and the other should give that permission. Yes, of course, Night is a good choice to be the one to hand over your corneas. He would be, as you say, a good compatible donor, but not to pay a debt (guilt), since I do not believe he is guilty of the accident, therefore, I do not consider him guilty of any suffering that Day goes through.

Sprite and First have been feuding for more time than they have been a couple. Several times in each chapter the specter arises as to whether “there is something between Zee and Salmon”, it seems to be clarified that there is not and Sprite and First are close again, but they then separate again because doubts resurface. They even participate in feuding volleyball matches for this reason. On many occasions it is Salmon who takes Sprite aside to talk about Zee or his role on the volleyball team, and thus arises a reason to raise alarms again. Salmon seems to like Zee, but First and the others are oblivious to everything going on. First asks Sprite on the rooftop if he really likes her, and Sprite doesn't answer directly. Later they make love for the first time. Was it Zee who kept one of his hands on Salmon's hand? Was it the real Zee that First saw? Everything seems to indicate it. Did Zee risk being exposed and go to the volleyball courts? So that? What did he have to do on the courts, besides giving himself away? On the other hand, Zee knows that his twin is in love with First, as he confessed it to him in episode 9. When First saw him near Salmon and asked him if there was something between Salmon and him, Zee also jeopardized the love future of Salmon. his brother. To all these, why does Sprite lose such beautiful moments, like the one on the roof, to confess the truth to First? Don't you trust First?

I see two possible endings: Seeing the Last Twilight causes a miracle that restores Day's vision, or Mohk gives him his corneas and with them his sight. I said this last option in one of my first comments about this series in MDL. In truth, I can't imagine any other ending than this. No fantasy, no miracles, please. In the previews for the next episode Mohk has been excluded by Day's mother from caring for him. We see how the consultation with the doctor continues behind the door. His role will be instrumental in recovering Day's vision.
Exciting episode 9: Day and her father reconciled. Day knows his brother is suffering and blames himself for the accident. This will also cause a reconciliation between the two. The two boys met friendly people along the way. They managed to climb the mountain and witness the Last Twilight. Mohk read the Epilogue of the novel, previously they got the page that was missing from his copy. Among the first things Day and Mohk did on the trip was making love. Finally they did it. The scene was not very emotional, but they already gave themselves to each other also in the sexual sense. The next day they joked about it. Day left Mohk's face as the last image that will be treasured forever.

I believe Day is wrong about his brother. The accident was caused by Day himself. At least this is recognized, therefore, by confession on the part of the relief of evidence. What doesn't seem right to me is blaming his brother for “wanting to steal what is his.” Day could have stopped the car to look for the vomit bag, or he could ignore the brother's feeling of vomiting, let him vomit, and then clean the car. Ultimately, he was even able to skip picking up his brother from the bar and ignore the fact that his brother was drunk. The way the two talked in the bar and on the way to the car and home, the way Night introduced Day to those present in the bar, evidence that there is a good previous relationship between the two brothers. But the questionable point is when Day states: “But what I can't stand is when he pretends to be a good son to please mom. "It's like he's taking advantage of the situation to steal what's mine behind my back." I consider it questionable because, one, we have no evidence that Night was a bad son (or a bad brother) before the accident and then, based on these circumstances, he changed his attitude to “take advantage and pretend” to be a good son. (A mother should be able to easily recognize if a child is pretending and taking advantage for some personal interest). And two, who told Day that a mother's love can be stolen? Why do you consider that your brother does not have the same right to love his mother and expect love from her? I reiterate my idea: there is no evidence to affirm that Night would have been (was) a bad son and since the accident he took advantage of obtaining advantages and seeking his own benefits. For having consumed alcoholic beverages moments before the accident? Does this make him an alcoholic?
Did belonging to a dysfunctional family lead you to consume alcohol? Is this the message? There is no element to affirm this is the reason. If we think about it a little, the mother would be at fault for divorcing the father's children when she divorced her husband. Isn't she the one who has prevented father and children from being reunited? Hasn't Day appreciated that his brother might feel guilty about his blindness? Hasn't Day thought that his brother hasn't been able to apologize and express his feelings of guilt because Day doesn't talk to him? Hasn't Day thought that his brother may have looked for other ways or resources to earn his forgiveness, even though Night is not really the direct culprit of the accident and, therefore, guilty of Day's blindness? Why didn't Mhok, upon hearing what Day said on the matter, give him a reasonable opinion of the situation?
Who are Meng trying to fool, the screenwriter or the director?: Meng is gay. Meng is the classic gay who does not dare to come out of the closet, in addition to carrying a great deal of internalized homophobia. In one of the first scenes, when we are introduced to the characters and we delve into the story, they show us a homophobic act: Mac, the homophobe, harasses a weak Meng who is not able to defend himself from the harassment. Mac mocks and incites the other students to join in the bullying, while throwing trash at a gay man in the middle of the classroom in the presence of the rest of the students and the teacher. Out of all the students at school, Mac chose the gay in the classroom as the object of his harassment. In the next scene, Tod jokingly tries to kiss Meng several times, as part of his usual behavior. In the scene that follows, the two boys flee from some “thugs.” Meng is the one who falls to the floor. Tod returns to help him, picks him up and protects him from the pursuers by hiding him: he is the prince defending the damsel in distress. Tod takes the beating, while a weak Meng watches without acting. Then, as they talk about what happened, Tod tells him: “Don't try to be strong…”. Tod knows the character, the personality of his friend and, of course, his lover. In the bar scene, Meng isn't upset that Tod is stealing his girl. That's the excuse for not recognizing the obvious: Meng is jealous of the girl. Meng would prefer Tod share with him at all times. However, Tod chose to approach the girl at the bar, look at her and put one of his arms around her. Meng makes terrible decisions in her life. I highly doubt he is in love with a girl as toxic as Nuck, who is capable of mocking and offending Meng in the same office, in front of all her coworkers. Meng loves Tod, but she doesn't dare admit him.

Thod confesses to his friend Kun that he is in love with Nick, and that they only touched each other twice to apply ointments to each other's wounds. The school principal's homophobia is the only thing questionable. He was even able to leak the video of Nick and Thod to cause Thod to be harassed by the students. Thod's father stopped her and prevented her from continuing to judge his son without evidence. Nick never went to meet Thod again, probably because of the age difference. I hoped they would stay together. Nick told him that he would wait to see him grow up being by his side. I thought it meant waiting until he came of age to confess. Thod's parents were okay with him living in Bangkok with Nick. The final scene leaves a breath of hope: the boys were reunited.

From the first moment I knew that we had a common position on the topic of debate. It would be illogical then to get angry with someone who shares my own positions. Rereading my comments, I don't think I finally mislabeled you. I think my intention was to make you a participant in elements with which to refute people who believe there is pedophilia. As for etoks21, he is a noble person. He could have been carried away by emotion if he uttered words that were out of tune. Don't worry, I'll let him know. We are friends and I trust him.

What I can't understand is that if you recognize that there may not be incest, if you admit that you stopped watching the next part of the chapter when Todo assured that Taku-chan was his stepbrother, and if you affirmed on several occasions that you had let yourself be carried away by the impulse of feeling revulsion at the thought that you found yourself facing an incestuous relationship (I would be offended in that case too, I can assure you), why do you keep repeating the same thing over and over again, in addition to claiming that you might start seeing her again . Do it, watch the series again, don't wear yourself out repeating the same thing, and above all analyze what you have seen, and you will discover that there is no incest nor is there pedophilia.

Hello. Sorry if I tagged you incorrectly, but I'm not mad at all. I have always thought that defensive people, without arguments, without reason, would be angry, not those who have all the arguments to win the debate. If you notice, I have even liked your words, acknowledging that I agree with them. Once again I apologize if I labeled you incorrectly and if I gave you the appearance of being upset.
