Watch when bored
Its one of those feel good kdramas tbh. It didn't leave a strong mark on me after I finished and I honestly already forgot what the kdrama was about. It does get interesting at times but this is also one of those kdramas where you just have to have patience to get through. I didn't hate it though! I think the characters are very likeable and I like how romance didn't play a big part but it was still subtly there. If you're bored and just wanna start a kdrama for the sake of it then this is the one! Its not that hard to follow although you kinda forget what the plot is throughout it, and it ends with a sort of an open ending. You don't know if the main character ends up with the main lead or the second lead. I'm glad they left it like this!!Was this review helpful to you?

Heart tugging Kdrama
Woah... This kdrama just...Wow.Amazing acting and a really good plot. Usually plots like these are really hard to execute well but this is really well done. A good balance between humor and being serious. Talking about suicide is never easy let alone showing strong emotions like that on TV,,, The cast did such a well job. It can be a hard watch if you struggle with those thoughts yourself but as someone who struggles as well, this really did change my perspective on some things. BTW this will make you cry every episode....

Comfort Kdrama
Okay to be fair, I am a bit biased towards this kdrama since I followed it before the episodes aired AND I read the Webtoon version as well. BUT! The show does bring out a beautiful story about self love and self image and how loving yourself before loving anyone else should always be your priority. I'd call this kdrama a feel good kdrama because really everything goes well for the main character in the end (Which aheemmm it might be a little unrealistic but she did go through a lot of shit so she deserves it!!) But also another thing i'm so mad about is how poorly they treated seojun in here. As an avid TB Webtoon reader, seojun and jukyung were each others first everything and that got practically erased in the show. I got really mad and was very disappointed when their first kiss never happened! Not even jukyung reciprocrating his feelings!? Thats just low...But I digress! Its a good show to watch when you're feeling low but do beware the second lead syndrome will hit HARD.Was this review helpful to you?
Tasteful show
I didn’t expect much from this show if i’m completely honest, i thought it would bore me too much and i would end up forgetting about it till i inevitably restarted it again just to finish it, but honestly it was so good!i liked all characters in the show and i liked the shows pacing and development throughout the episodes! usually i would be a bit bummed out that a good show only had 10 episodes but honestly, it was perfect.
it takes a good director to know how many episodes are enough for a show. it wasn’t an overkill and it wasn’t too short either. every plot in the show wrapped up nicely, it genuinely felt like i was watching a cute little story! its been a while since a kdrama did that!
bonus points for the weak hero class reference haha, i loved jihoons cameo at the end and his iconic sieun kubrick stare.
lovely couple, beautiful friendship, also a found family trope which warmed my heart. i liked everyones dynamic in there, it was funny and sad- everything a mix of perfect balanced emotions. it was never too excessive on drama but also didn’t make it boring. i really liked this!

No complaints!
I’ve been quite obsessed with Zombie plots lately and when I found out about this I just knew I would enjoy it and I was RIGHT!!!Really I have no complaints about this show. Nothing lacked and nothing was too much. The characters that were frustrating were there to keep things interesting and they sure as hell did so. The characters that I hated in the early episodes I started to like them ONLY A LITTLE BIT!! I still dislike the doctor and the building representative but they both were hilarious at times and I honestly didn’t hate them as much as I did towards the end. I’m just glad the lawyer and the mistress ended up having a sad ending LOL, deserved!!!! I hope Lawyers ex wife gets the happiness she deserves in the end.
But episode 12 scared me so much?! Why’d they make it seem like Yihyun died ?! But then he showed up fine 😭 I’m not complaining but it did scare me, I’m just happy they had their happy ending in the end!
I wish they showed the other detective and if he survived and Seoyoons mom if she is doing well. Also the chiefs wife and if she survived…I’m assuming that their child passed away but I wouldve still wanted to know about the side characters endings. Very good and thrilling show!!

THIS WILL SNATCH YOUR WIG
Just finished the last few episodes and I NEED MORE!!!!I need a season 2. Nam Joohyuks comeback from the military is ICONIC. One of his best roles, and best K-Dramas I watched this year. Truly no K-Drama had me quite in this type of grip.
There is only one negative thing i’ve got to say about it, and its that I can’t find the OST or Soundtrack of this show!! The outro they used in ep2 is AMAZING. I NEED THE SONG!!! I tried to shazam it and searched for it but nowhere to be found. So if anyone knows…let me know.
But once again, this was such a good 8 episode drama. Usually the best K-Dramas tend to be 8 episodes, which is so frustrating! I don’t think anything has been confirmed for another season but I truly hope they don’t let this show die.
Gripping storyline, acting and characters. Nam Joohyuk has always been one of my favourite actors so seeing him in this type of role was exhilarating.
Lots of great actors in general. I’m in love!
Please watch it!! You won’t regret!!!

Prepare to cry
I started this because of an edit I watched on tiktok. I saw park boyoung play as a depressed character and i just knew i had to watch it. Her acting is top tier especially when it comes to expressing negative emotions. The show is honestly a rollercoaster. I cried each episode and it lowkey reminded me of Tomorrow kdrama. Whenever there’s kdramas that center around mental illnesses or suicide I know it’s going to be one of the best shows but it’s going to make my heart ache each episode.
I loved all of the characters and their development although some episodes seemed too good to be true like, quitting and getting a dream job just like that or social anxiety getting lowkey erased. I understand the characters had a development to get to that point but as someone who has social anxiety all of that seemed just too good to be true to me.
This show also made me realise just how scary it is to put a name to an emotion that is actually mental illness. It’s insane how quickly people avoid you and view you differently just for having a mental illness…I don’t know if i’ll ever have courage to get a proper diagnosis but this show showed that it wouldn’t be too bad or scary if i did.
Really well done. I recommend it but be aware that this show shows self harm scars and self harm happening (which was a bit hard for me to watch) the show is a bit gory with some scenes so if you’re sensitive, do go into this show with caution.

go find your light!
oh my oh myyyyy😭😭😭man i struggled so much finding a place to watch this show, i had to switch between three websites for each different episode (because some didn’t have subtitles) but alas, it was worth it because this show was amazing. from start to finish, its a beautiful show with a beautiful message.
i cried so much and it takes a lot to make me shed tears. the actors sold their characters and their grief and sadness so well.
at first i thought it was horror the way it introduced itself in the beginning, but it was truly a beautiful show.
the only thing i was confused about was the little boy in the bus and how come he was never mentioned in the episodes. i only remember him showing up briefly to hand over a basketball to the nurse but that was it, and was never mentioned again. this isn’t a spoiler so don’t worry, just a little observation that didn’t make sense to me.
overall. amazing show, amazing characters! very sad though, be prepared to watch this!

Give me tangarines not lemons!
This is one of those kdramas that you can either only say a few words about or write a whole essay, though i’ll try to find the latter as I write about it.Once again, IU. Holy shit dude. She’s amazing.
Every show i’ve watched that featured IU has left me speechless each time. The way she conveys her emotions is truly something special, I genuinely believe IU is a better actress than some of the actual actresses. Seriously, what can’t she do?
This story is a mother daughter centered show, though it’s also about lovers, dads and siblings. So many themes are explored and yet the biggest one that left its lingering scar behind was the grief of it all.
I cannot express how many times this show has made me cry. Good, bad, painful, sorrowful. The actors made you feel everything they felt and yet somehow you knew that whatever that character felt is something you could never feel on the same level as them.
This will leave you wanting to call up your mom and dad and tell them how much you love and appreciate their sacrifices for you. It’ll make you ponder about your grandchildren and hope that once its your time to pass, your grandchildren will look after your child in their old age.
Wonderful show. Truly. From beginning to end, each story was unfolded in its own pace and has wrapped itself up perfectly.
IU and Bogum’s chemistry is admirable.
However as I compliment this show, I have to say I will never rewatch this show again lol… It has tugged at my heart one too many times, I’ve exhausted myself watching it.
One time watch but it’s worth it.

Arranged marriage, what could possibly go wrong?
Man I did not expect to love this show as much as I did. The couple gave me so much butterflies and their chemistry was really something. I loved their dynamic, and although they were often described as ‘opposites’ of each other, somehow I found them the most similar to each other than any other character.I loved everything about this show. The plot, the characters, acting, the pace. I think everything plot wise was perfect, and everyone got their closure in the end.
I can’t exactly say I was happy with the ending, although it was hinted that everything ended nice and happy but I just had wished after all these 8 sad episodes we would get a nice ending with them. Still, I won’t say the ending was bad but it was a little disappointing to say the least.
Like I said before, 8 episode K-Dramas never disappoint! It reminded me a little of My Mister since it started off very melancholic and it ended like My Mister as well. I love when sad characters find each other and help each other be happier.
I recommend this a lot! It includes a lot of psychological messing with your head as well as childhood trauma/ past marriage issues. I recommend it. Give it a go!

Revenge plots never miss!
This Kdrama genuinely got me out of my kdrama slump. I’ve been struggling with finding interest in the new shows lately but this one had me hooked immediately!!!!Not only was the story captivating but the acting is amazing. I’ve cried, felt disgusted, scared, happy. This is what a good kdrama does to you!
I wasn’t bored at all and kept waiting to get to the next episode to know what’ll happen next.
But respectfully, I would never watch this again… this show was amazing but it was equally exhausting as well. It was a good one time watch for me.
There were some plotholes in here that made me think a little but I don’t remember them anymore which means it didn’t affect my watching experience so it still holds up as a good show.
Also very IMPORTANT message, we all know Korea’s justice system is ass. Speaking about this stuff will always be important and i’m thankful they aren’t shying away from the reality and what could be happening behind closed doors. Do not be a bystander!!!!!

Well…Goddamn…
I just finished the show and uhm… yeah … heavy ass K-Drama.In the beginning I was invested, plot and storyline were so good and I was excited to start each new episode. The characters were funny and Woo Dohwan is naturally a very good actor that every character he plays is instantly likeable (despite them being assholes most of the time).
Side characters were good and everyone matched their aesthetic pretty well.
Now for the FL, I don’t really know how to describe it but— the actress just keeps playing the most annoying characters ever. Every damn time I see her in a show, her character is crying, screaming, hitting or having a breakdown. I mean she acts REALLY well. But my god, she was annoying as fuck.
I think I liked her character sometimes but most of the time the choices and actions she made were just so infuriating that I have no idea how Hae-Jo fell in love with her. She was extremely obnoxious although she has her sweet moments.
Towards the ending when things got bittersweet I started liking her a bit more. I guess once she found out Hae-Jo was dying she also became a bit nicer although still stupid and obnoxious but that was the point of her character I guess. Hae-Jo always said ‘what would you do without me when you’re this naive?’ and I guess the episodes truly showed how naive and stupid she is.
But I guess that was also her charm at the same time. She’s a human like everyone else so I guess I can’t hate on her obnoxious nature too much.
Speaking of, I wanted to also mention the side characters. Honestly, I liked all of them. Okay you know what, fuck it, yeah, I liked everyone. Although every character pissed me off atleast once in this show, somehow it made them more human…? I don’t know. I guess K-Dramas usually always show perfect people without flaws (well some shows), atleast they give characters stupid flaws that don’t make them seem annoying so they’re likable. But this K-Drama…phew. Everyone pisses you off lmao, but atleast in the end all of them also show their good sides and it just reminds you they’re just as much of a human like you are and they’re not so bad.
Okay I’m talking too much about the characters but uhm, the story overall. Wow. The abandonment and then finding out the person who abandoned you is truly your father in the first place…wow.
I mean they never revealed who his father is officially but let’s be real, even if Hae-Jo found his biological father, the father he had in the beginning will always be his father.
I’m a little sad that their scene was so short and sudden but I guess that’s the whole point. To show he had no time left, and the little time he had- he wanted to spend with Jaemi.
Throughout the show I couldn’t figure out if I liked their story or not. Jaemi was a bit of an asshole for leaving Heung hanging and then breaking his heart but- you know what they say, ‘the heart wants what it wants’. And I guess I could direct my anger at Heung too for being so stupid and hung up over her. But hey, to quote myself back there, that’s what makes them human so I can’t be entirely mad.
The ending was something I can’t really describe. It’s out in the open that he’s clearly dying and the blackout in the end meant he had passed away. But though the scene was made in a way where you have to make out the ending yourself is what annoyed me a bit but it was poetic and beautiful and once again, I can’t get mad at it.
Hae-Jo’s wish to die somewhere out in the open and not confined in a hospital room was granted and he died in Jaemi’s arms which made him go in peace. Heartbreaking. I hate death tropes and I wasn’t really expecting it to be a death trope because I came to this show because of Woo Dohwan’s sexy edits on tiktok…😭 But it was worth it. Came for Woo Dohwan, and stayed for a beautiful story. Granted it broke my heart and made me cry, but I loved it.
1 star for rewatch though. Never going through that shit again. Nope.

EASY 10!
Jason Kim, you have done it again.I knew from the moment this movie’s description said “Jason Kim director of Bloodhounds” that this must be just as good. AND DAMN I WAS RIGHT!!!
Kim Woobin fits these type of roles so well, from Black Knight to Officer Black Belt, truly an amazing performance.
Now the thing that roped me in was the plot, and I genuinely have no complaints against this movie. It was entertaining, it was emotional, it had likeable characters (the good ones ofc lol), and above all, the friendships that bloomed and the character development was beautiful. Kim Woobin’s character went from being a little immature and seeking fun in everything and never being serious, to opening a whole new dark world and inevitably getting sucked into it. Its easy to immediately seek out justice once you see what horrible stuff goes on behind closed doors.
Now that everything is coming out in Korea about CP distribution, SA’s and offenders not being properly prosecuted, I feel like this was a perfect movie to come out right now. Maybe it’ll make people of Korea watch this and realise how disgusting and very real these situations are.
Certain scenes were hard to watch since they didn’t censor how disgusting these cases can get, but thankfully it was never cruelly or gruesomely depicted as for example ‘Silenced’ movie did.
So, it’s own level of graphic will make you cry or atleast make you sick to your stomach.
I haven’t watched a movie in one sitting in a while, this was an amazing watch. I truly recommend it! But as always with these type of movies, be careful watching it and make sure you’re in the right headspace to do so.
Amazing movie!

do NOT watch this while missing your best friend
even as i type this, there’s still tears falling down my cheeks. i don’t know why this has affected me this much…well, nevermind, i do.i won’t spill my problems in this review but, as someone who’s had a horrible argument and well, i guess a somewhat of a fall out with her best friend of 7 years, this hit me right in the heart. you never get over it. even if you keep saying you’re okay, you still feel it in your heart.
sharing your life with someone where it borders between platonic and romantic love, it’s always special. i originally watched this thinking it would be very sapphic centric and although there’s definitely elements of it, you can tell it’s about two best friends- two soulmates, finding each other, drifting apart till they found each other again.
i can only hope the same happens to us.
beautiful movie.

Amnesia trope but actually done well
To be honest I wasn’t expecting much from this K-Drama when I first started it. I don’t think I was planning on watching this when it started promoting, but I was looking for something new since I was bored, and this just happened to be there at the exact time I needed it.I have no complaints about this K-Drama really. I’m not a big crier when I watch media, but this K-Drama tugged on my heartstrings so much. My biggest enemy is the death trope and this whole show made me get thousands of heart attacks by making me think one of them is going to die.
The love story between the main characters was so beautifully done. From the beginning on how they fell in love, to how they fell out of love and then doing it all again, fighting through their rough patches. It was genuinely so well done.
Granted it was a little frustrating because the couple kept misunderstanding each other and the entire time i would scream “just say it!!!”. Some of those scenes were a little too frustrating to watch, but it was worth it in the end.
I’m not the biggest fan of amnesia plots but this one was a little different since it wasn’t only centred around her losing memories but more so of the process of her losing them until ultimately doing so.
The actors had such an amazing chemistry between each other, I honestly loved them as a couple and I rooted for them throughout the show! Since I’m usually a huge second lead lover, this time the second lead had zerooo chances against the ML. The ML and FL were truly made for each other.
And also, I kinda dislike the constant “they met each other before when they were kids” storylines, almost every K-Drama has this nowadays, c’mon now!! Let’s be original and leave this trope alone!! And not only did the ML meet her when he was a kid but so did the second lead LOL its just stupid really. Second lead made sense but the ML meeting her two times in the past? Yeah alright…
And another thing I wanted to comment on is how well they hid the advertisement in their show. Usually they’re super noticeable in K-Dramas. When they whip out Kopiko and eat it with the dialogue following it like “Hm I definitely woke up from this!”, In queen of tears the way they implemented ads in there was barely noticeable which is why I got so immersed into the story. Although I did notice the blatant Subway advertising LOL.
All in all, this K-Drama had a lot of twist and turns, its a lot- and I probably missed out on a lot what I wanted to say because there’s just so many storylines and plots going on in there, but it keeps you entertained and engaged. Sometimes it would have boring scenes but they pass by fast and are followed up with interesting ones right after. Its well done, I loved it.
Keep in mind its a very heavy K-Drama, and if you’re very sensitive, this K-Drama will definitely make you cry!!
