You will be frustrated
As much as I disliked literally every character in this show, I can’t lie I practically binged the entire series (as much as I could since I had exams lol). It was incredibly entertaining. I mean seriously, they were annoying but they would leave you on a cliffhanger that’s way too good to ignore. On a side note the ending was so unsatisfying. I mean, I didn’t expect a happy merry ol’ ending where everyone gets their revenge and everyone reaps what they sow but it just felt incompleted? Maybe the writers didn’t have any ideas left where to go lol… It was just so anticlimactic.
I guess they were trying to say that Baek Ahjin is alive and living like a ghost now but still. The ending felt empty, like atleast a little bit more context and background would’ve sufficied.
But overall I can’t say the show is bad just because the characters were frustrating- I mean I could but that’d be a lie because the premise of the show was so interesting! I’m a huge fan of revenge plots and although this isn’t your typical revenge story (lowkey like a bad side of revenge rather than a good one) which was new and refreshing! I recommend this show, be prepared to be frustrated to the core tho!!!

Expected a lot more honestly
I finished this movie a while ago actually but just completely forgot about it 😂😂 its so insignificant and it was quite honestly boring. It took me 3 days to finish it cause I kept pausing. Now call me whatever you want, but I’m usually not a big fan of media that over does its humor. It honestly felt like they were trying TOO hard to be funny and sarcastic… I get it was poking fun in politics yadda yadda whatever, it had almost the exact same style as Parasite but in this movie it just kinda bored me.Great actors though. The only reason I continued and was dedicated to finish it was for my boy Hongkyung… other than that… the movie was definitely a bleh fest. Its not that good, not bad either. I did expect it to be better with that type of cast though. But oh well!

Amnesia trope but actually done well
To be honest I wasn’t expecting much from this K-Drama when I first started it. I don’t think I was planning on watching this when it started promoting, but I was looking for something new since I was bored, and this just happened to be there at the exact time I needed it.I have no complaints about this K-Drama really. I’m not a big crier when I watch media, but this K-Drama tugged on my heartstrings so much. My biggest enemy is the death trope and this whole show made me get thousands of heart attacks by making me think one of them is going to die.
The love story between the main characters was so beautifully done. From the beginning on how they fell in love, to how they fell out of love and then doing it all again, fighting through their rough patches. It was genuinely so well done.
Granted it was a little frustrating because the couple kept misunderstanding each other and the entire time i would scream “just say it!!!”. Some of those scenes were a little too frustrating to watch, but it was worth it in the end.
I’m not the biggest fan of amnesia plots but this one was a little different since it wasn’t only centred around her losing memories but more so of the process of her losing them until ultimately doing so.
The actors had such an amazing chemistry between each other, I honestly loved them as a couple and I rooted for them throughout the show! Since I’m usually a huge second lead lover, this time the second lead had zerooo chances against the ML. The ML and FL were truly made for each other.
And also, I kinda dislike the constant “they met each other before when they were kids” storylines, almost every K-Drama has this nowadays, c’mon now!! Let’s be original and leave this trope alone!! And not only did the ML meet her when he was a kid but so did the second lead LOL its just stupid really. Second lead made sense but the ML meeting her two times in the past? Yeah alright…
And another thing I wanted to comment on is how well they hid the advertisement in their show. Usually they’re super noticeable in K-Dramas. When they whip out Kopiko and eat it with the dialogue following it like “Hm I definitely woke up from this!”, In queen of tears the way they implemented ads in there was barely noticeable which is why I got so immersed into the story. Although I did notice the blatant Subway advertising LOL.
All in all, this K-Drama had a lot of twist and turns, its a lot- and I probably missed out on a lot what I wanted to say because there’s just so many storylines and plots going on in there, but it keeps you entertained and engaged. Sometimes it would have boring scenes but they pass by fast and are followed up with interesting ones right after. Its well done, I loved it.
Keep in mind its a very heavy K-Drama, and if you’re very sensitive, this K-Drama will definitely make you cry!!

Wholesome father daughter story
There’s not much to say for this movie, its nothing special or ‘never done before’, it actually reminded me a lot of the K-Drama ‘moved’ with the whole flying around and lifting stuff up in the air thing. The story following a girl who loses everything, her mom, her job, everything, to a famous construction company since they wanted to bulldoze her chicken shop.
Her father heard of the news and decided to help her despite their relationship being rocky.
I wish they had told us the reason he left them. Surely it must’ve been bigger than just him leaving because he couldn’t afford staying with them. Imagine leaving your family and getting a divorce over that…😭
However it was a nice story between him and his daughter. And though the movie doesn’t really have any other plots going on around it other than the main thing which is winning against the construction company, it was still enjoyable to binge while i’m bored.
Cute little movie to watch! I recommend it.

WORTH IT
Okay I was super hyped up for this mostly because i LOVE suzy baes acting and I knew this was going to be a banger.Doona was an interesting concept for me from the start, i’ve always loved ‘celebrity/non celebrity’ tropes because they’re either tragic or a lovely love story.
The love between the main characters was a doom from the beginning, both of them so toxic going on and off and never really properly communicating, but i really loved the chemistry between the actors.
The first kiss in the show made me get butterflies, and thats really rare for me! I loved how Doona was the confident and dominant one and then later on when Wonjun got a little bit more confident, he started taking charge too.
But their love story was so short lived and yet so painful. I was actually really rooting for them, and i’m so sad that they didn’t end up together. I know it’s the harsh reality yadda yadda but c’mon!!
I liked the side characters as well, especially the side couple, I just kneeeew something was gonna spark between them, they were adorable!
Seeming how the show ended, I don’t think there will be a season 2, it seems pretty in the face about the ending. Even a time skip. They will always long for each other but never have each other, and that thought alone breaks my heart for both of them.
This even made me think how it would be a nightmare to date someone famous…imagine getting hated on for loving someone and then when you break up, you see your ex everywhere. Just seems like a nightmare.
Anyway the show is a really good quick watch!

AGHHHH
MAN I LOVED THIS SHOW!!It was funny as hell and interesting each episode! When I first started it i didn’t expect much and honestly i started it because of Han Jimin since she’s one of my favourite actresses!😭 But really this kdrama is SO worth it. Each episode filled with mystery and comedy, My Liberation Notes and 2521 were preferenced and I loved it so much it was hilarious!!!😭😭😭 Really this show has action, mystery and comedy and it’s executed so well! As someone who followed this story as the episodes were getting released, I was always excited for the new episode. AND the OST is amazing!!! The song is in my playlist now!!! Must watch really! And I can’t stop emphasising how funny the show was, they really got a laugh out of me each episode!
But honestly there is ONE thing I was a little iffy about and it’s how Yebun let the whole ‘my mother was murdered’ situation slide so easily. I get that the murderer died but still…
and also about seonwoo’s mother who disappeared! I’m so sad that he never got to find out!!! but on another note, I think everything else was perfect! Love it !!

Well…
Okay I have to admit, I did watch this movie solely because people on tiktok always called it ‘the best korean movie’. I wanted to see for myself what the hype was all about..but honestly, I don’t really see what makes it so special? The plot is completely incestuous and once that was revealed everything became uncomfortable. You can spare the whole ‘deep meaning’ behind it. I still think it’s a nasty movie lol…
Other than the plot, the acting was truly amazing though! You can tell these are veteran actors. I’m always in awe at how great actors could play such a terrible character.
Though Daesu didn’t know it was his daughter, I still think it was wrong of him to just continue the relationship blissfully.
I don’t know…i’ve got mixed feelings about this movie. I’m just left with a nasty feeling honestly.

Heavy watch
Honestly this movie will leave you extremely exhausted after finishing it. I remember watching this for the first time at night and it only made the experience realer, as if I was the one who was getting chased by a serial killer. It’s good and the actors’ great acting will suck you in on it and make it feel like you’re right there with the victim.Though do beware that in this movie a lot of things happen at once, a lot of violence and emotional scenes. It feels as though you can’t even catch a breath for a moment. Everything happens in one day and it doesn’t let you to experience another day where you feel ease and catch a break- no, it ropes you in and it doesn’t let you go until the end.
So if you’re up for a very exhausting (yet good!) movie, then this is definitely it.

REALLY REALLY GOOD.
i recommend this to anyone who loves action mixed with comedy. because oh my god, there are so many scenes in here that will simply make you burst out laughing. the chemistry between the actors is just wow, chefs kiss! top tier actors, plot also reminded me of fight club lowkey, it was super funny and easy to get into.characters are so easy to like, romance isnt a primary factor in here which is probaby why i liked it so much because it mostly focused on K and ryu soolyeols friendship and how they eventually get along with each other and become badass.the side plot where K falls for the girl is so hilarious though, i really enjoyed it...lol

my heart belongs to this kdrama
This will forever be one of my favourite kdramas to exist. I don't think everyone would agree because this kdrama really is quite unique and if you like this type of genres. This was such a tragic, bittersweet, beautiful story as well as a love story. Two people who experienced the same traumatic event yet hurting in different ways and finding each other again and making each other heal by loving each other..its just wow. So beautifully done.I feel like I could rant about this story for a long time. Its just one of a kind. The actors had so much chemistry with each other and Lee Junhos acting is just phenomenal in here especially when he got diagnosed and yelled in the middle of the street..that scene really stuck with me. Just very beautiful.
Still pissed how they made me think he would die in the end but thankfully that wasn't the case. I'm gonna spend the rest of my life thinking how beautiful their love story is.

BEST BL!
I can't even begin to describe how much I love this kdrama. Im not much of a BL watcher but I decided to give these two a chance and man, I was NOT disappointed. So many BLs nowadays glamorize SA and no consent for the sake of attention but this was so pure and lovely. Their whole thing was warning the other that they'll kiss them and he gets to choose whether he will allow it or not. When pushed away, he remains away and doesn't push forward. They're both so sweet and slow with one another, it made me thing maybe BLs aren't THAT bad.Was this review helpful to you?

Keepy you on your tippy toes
To be honest this is one of my favourite kdramas ever. Its such an interesting action kdrama, every episode keeps you intrigiued and on your tippy toes. Cast is amazing as well, great actors! Plots are always well done and so many likeable characters. The thought of criminal X police romance happening is making me lowkey excited too hehe...Very good. I recommend it!! Also the main character in there is sexy as hell........(Lee Jehoon). Yeah just give it a chance, I feel like its one of those shows where you can easily get into!!Was this review helpful to you?

Cliche Kdrama
Its just your typical, 'I made a bet that I'll make her fall in love with me' plot. This was one of my first kdramas I've watched so I do admit it was very well done because it made me want to continue watching kdramas after that. I was also not aware at the time that one of the main characters was Joy from Red Velvet, and that that was one of her first roles. Honestly she did so well, shes very talented with acting! I don't remember much from the kdrama but I do remember I was never bored lol...It holds a lot of nostalgia for me.Was this review helpful to you?

Ehhhh..
Suzy bae is one of my favourite kdrama actresses and she did so well here...in most of her works she always outshines her cast members. Though I do admit Woobin also did well!! This kdrama had a good start but it got a little boring in the middle of it, i'd say it was a bit of a drag.. but once she had to stay with Woobins character it got a lot more interesting and I liked the tension that was built in between the main characters. This is a very heartbreaking kdrama though.. so if you're thinking of watching this then beware for that. Was this review helpful to you?

GOOD!
AMAZING! I haven't watched much of Siwans work but he always does well! He just always seems to have great chemistry with all of his coworkers! The main actress also did well and I really enjoyed her acting. The movie was so intriguing and it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The way the story unravelled and how the movie kept you guessing if the killer is the detectives son or not or if the main characters father would survive or not. SOOOO GOOD! I recommend it! Plus its really fun to watch at night for bonus effect. It reminded me a lot of Strangers from hell. I loved how many conflicting moments there are in the movie, i guess thats all that its about...Was this review helpful to you?
