Yearners are earners
Seriously, the yearning by the ML in this show is top tier. This is what I like to see. Not only is he head over heels for her in the past but in the present as well. All timelines he is looking for her and waiting on her. What a story.Lol, I’m saying this as if this plot has never been done before when its the most typical synopsis of time travel kdramas. One of the main leads from Joseon travels to modern times, struggles to integrate, then integrates, then intrigues their love interest for being so ‘weird’ and the rest is history. I’ve played these games beforeeeeee!!
But on a real note, these type of shows aren’t watched for new innovative plots. They’re there to be judged by their performances and how convincing the love story between the main characters is. And my god, they certainly sold their love story good!
Like I said before, time travel kdramas seem to be a hot topic nowadays so you have to be careful how you do it. You could easily take a genre like this and make it boring. But they kept it fun, entertaining and interesting. I was intrigued each episode and I LOVED! the couple. They were so lovely together that it made me sad when the end was nearing. Not only were they good but I liked the little side couple they created between the manager and the actress. Can’t say I didn’t see it coming but I liked their little cameos as well. Maybe a bit greedy of me to wish to have seen them develop a little more. If not that, I would’ve loved a spicy scene between the main couple since Heo Namjun definitely has the vibes for it…👀 But alas, the show was genuinely so good. No wonder it got good ratings! I was hooked from the beginning. Waiting for Fridays and Saturdays was hell. But now I’m sad it ended. What a lovely couple this show gave us.
Farewell Cha Segye and Shin Seori!

I feel like this movie will hit harder once you rewatch it and you know everything thats happening, and you start seeing signs of what the reality really is. Its just so fucked up and mind boggling and leaves you with an empty feeling once you finish it because then you're left wondering...could all of this been avoided and done in a more proper way? Both of their deaths were symbolic but it hurts so much. Both of them never intended on hurting anyone and their fucked up fates just seemed to clash together which breaks my heart for the both of them. I recommend this if you like movies who fuck your mind up a bit...

Absolutely loved it
Dare I say better than 20th century girl?I truly loved this movie, it was silly, just the right amount of quirky and it was so good it even had my family who don’t consume asian content invested 😂
The only thing that I found a bit disappointing is how they depicted curly hair as ‘ugly’ but its wonderful how the message in the end is that her hair is just as equally beautiful and she left her hair curly ❤️
The couple was so adorable and had so much chemistry 🥹 I’ll definitely be rewatching this sometime again, i’ve felt so many butterflies watching their budding romance develop throughout the movie. I recommend it!

KARMA IS REAL
Oh my god!!! If you know me, you know i LOVE revenge stories. Oh my god, the satisfying ending of every villain just brought me so much joy. The fact that everyone is somehow connected and everyone got to meet their demise for their sins- just wow. What an amazing kdrama.I finished everything in one sitting, such a good show that keeps you interested and entertained! Every character makes you second guess who’s the good guy who’s the bad guy. The plotwists in here were crazy.
Amazing! Really good. Lowkey wish it had more episodes…either way, for such a short series, really well done and nicely finished!
