That's a very weird ending for Bingzhou. Imagine looking at your sister but seeing your romantic love's face. Awkward to the highest level.
And the characters who died deserved to die. But the way they died aren't satisfying. Why did Pian Pian die in just 1 strike when she fought 2 other great demons? Why did the 3 demons die in less than 5mins of fighting with a human being and half demon? They were literally kings of their clans when demons were at their peaks! Dali died that fast when she was in the story for almost half the series??? It felt like they were killed just for the sake of taking them off of the story. And I wanted a more painful death for that human emperor. His greed was too heavy for just a single line death told in a letter.
