Well in my own humble opinion, I would say it follows the original story (rich bad boy-poor kind girl trope) but what I really like is how they address the character depth and development.
We are in 2022, and the director is well aware, everyone will not cheer for that kind of story anymore compared to the earlier 2000s. So yes, life lessons are I think important to address in today's world especially for all the Gen Z watching this show.
Being self aware, not justifying their wrongdoings and whether to cheer or not for the character is our business.

But again it's my humble opinion. F4 is for me the best.

In the general trailer, there is a scene when F4 members were in the same room playing around all together, I guess, that's the winter vacation(it's just my own assumption). Regarding the naked body heat scene, I really don't know...but I cross my fingers so hard they will include it

In the chinese version, we have 49 episodes, indeed they would play the fiance card a bit longer. But F4 thailand have 4 ep left, Through my analyzis of this show since the very start, when F4 thailand focus on one special theme and character, they handle their closure on the same episode, whether it be departure or or feelings. (eg: Mira ep2, Hana ep5, Ren ep6-7, Talay ep11), Lita would be on ep12 and I guess, ep13 is for Kavin.

Because in the trailer for ep12, thyme wear a T-shirt I recognize in the f4 thailand trailer 2 where Lita would literally took off her clothes and be naked in front of him (in every version it's like that). They confront their true feelings during that scene and she gave up after that and left.

I'm thinking about some plot twist like at the end, when Thyme will confront her mother and handle Paramaanantra's business. he will make a press conference which he will confess everything regarding the red card. Speaking wise, we all know, the mother is the one who hide all his wrong doings, leading to him never aknowledging the consequences of his acts.

I think that we don't talk more about Gorya's traits personality that I really admire the most.
As her name implied weed, where we can step on but it will grow even more. Her, being able to overcome the amount of bullying (physically and online) asked a lot of strong state of mind. (Ep1, ep2, ep5)
Truthfully in her place, I would overthink, have anxiety and shut myself out.
Rare are people who can overcome such trauma and even face them head on.

The thing is ep11 will come soon and I predict that she will move on from the kidnapping + violence in ep10.

If you talked about 2018, I beg to disagree. The storytelling is reallyy different, the vibe (one dark and one light), the bullying aspect is more prominent in f4 Thai than in Chinese verse where there is some card game.
F4 tackle some real issues(social class, bullying, self love, social media, etc,...) While Chinese version is more into the romance aspect.

I agree they follow more the Japanese version.
