See the director wanted us to think that Jae hoon is the victim throughout the relationship and Ha Yoon was the…
Just because I didn't like something, doesn't mean I didn't understand it. I just didn't like it, that's all. Your opinion is valid, and I understand why you felt the need to explain all the reasons why they did it that way, but I just don't agree with it because the story simply didn't sit well with me.
(I know in writing it sounds harsh, but I really don't mean it that way, I swear hahaha)

Kang Min Ho! I loved this guy! his character development was just perfect! and those last acts he did to show…
Thank you for your comment, I was about to drop it because he is such a jerk, but if there's character development then I'm in

I wish someone had warned me this drama goes completely downhill in the second half (at least in my opinion).
The ML is the only character I absolutely loved from beginning to end, all the rest annoyed the hell out of me.
I'd give it a 9/10 for the first half but the second doesn't even deserve a 5/10.

Ngl that got me upset too. But then I reconsidered the era (the social gap between men and women then and there)…
well let's just say that realism is not what I'm looking for when watching a FANTASY romcom. but you have the right to your own opinion, just like I have the right to drop a drama whenever I don't feel like watching it anymore for whatever reason. I understand the whole historical context and I still don't wanna watch a romcom where the ML slaps the FL, that's all.

idk- what is bad is the "mark" is there forever. But for me, this is a less punishment. Plenty of dramas have…
I understand what you're saying and how punishments worked at that time, but to me when it comes to violence there is no "worse" or "better", violence is always violence. If the drama was of a different genre I could let it slide, but romance? No thanks

I literally had to mute all scenes with FL's mother, brother and sister-in-law. They still made me really mad just by reading the subs, but not hearing their voices helped a little, because I was about to drop the drama just because of how much I hated them (unfortunately I couldn't skip their scenes because they were important to the main plot). Wow, I never hated a lead character's family this much, especially the mother, what a huge b****

Well, in my experience of watching Chinese historical dramas and Korean historical dramas, Chinese historical…
I've watched plenty of Chinese historical dramas and this is my first time seeing something like this between the main couple, guess I was lucky? And even if it is "common", doesn't mean I have to put up with it. Glad I didn't waste much of my time with this drama.

I was enjoying it so much, but when he slapped her on episode 6, that was it for me. HUGE DEAL BREAKER. There's no way I can ship them now, I'm shocked to see something like this in a romcom, especially between the main couple. Dropped without a second thought.

Title Be Melodramatic Spoiler
I still don't understand what message they were trying to send through Jae Hoon and Ha Yoon's terrible relationship. I get that this drama is "non conventional", but the writers kept forcing that toxic relationship and after it was over, they tried to blame Jae Hoon for eveything with that stupid "epiphany" thing when Han Joo painted Ha Yoon like some kind of victim. She was the one who had a drinking problem, denied that she needed help while she had very destructive behavior and cheated on him constantly. And do we need to talk about how she would be super nice after a big fight or after she cheated just to keep him in check? That's abusive behavior 101. And in the end they still end up together, how romantic. Or at least they hint that they'll make up. What was the message here? If you're stuck in a toxic relationship, there's no way out? Really sad ending for Jae Hoon, he deserved so much better.

I really enjoyed the stories that were told through the dishes they prepared, I could connect to the characters and some of the stories were really touching.
The "romance" thing was waaaaay too forced and unnecessary though, but I ignored it.
I'm a big Aroha (Astro's fan), so I obviously watched this for the boys, but the restaurant's clients were the real stars here <3

6 episodes in and I'm dropping. I usually like shows other people don't (like Bride of the Water God) but this…
Totally agree about Park Bo Young, I don't know why but I find her acting very annoying, forced and it seems like she's always playing the same character. I've watched like 3 dramas and a movie with her by now and she's exactly the same in every single one of them (facial expressions, voice, personality, etc). I'm glad someone finally said it, I don't understand why so many people love her acting (no offense to her personally though).

Title She Was Pretty Spoiler
I really really enjoyed the first episodes, but seriously... why did they have to turn such a beautiful sismance into a stupid cliche where one girl backstabs her best friend because of a guy? Their friendship was my favorite thing about this drama and now it's tainted. I hate it when they turn a great female character into a b*tch just because she "fell in love" and MUST have the guy at all costs. I want nothing to do with this stupid drama anymore, ML is an asshole anyway. Dropped.

I couldn't even finish the first episode and I won't because I love Ahn Hyo Seop too much to have his image ruined by this horrible character. Don't care if he's gonna change (by reading the reviews, I see that he's not), so let me just drop this while it's not too late.

This is a masterpiece. I honestly didn't have many expectations even with the praising comments, because let's be honest, BL fans tend to overestimate series just because of hot actors or fanservice, but this one is actually, actually a masterpiece. The writing, the acting, the camera work, the production... everything draws you in and those characters leave a tattoo in your heart. Can't wait for season 2 and I can't promise I won't rewatch this a million times until then.

Though I watched 10 episodes and still no progress had been made between the leads, I thought at least they had developed feelings for one another, but then all of a sudden FL wants ML to get back together with his ex, what???? What a deal breaker. It's a funny drama, but the romance isn't going anywhere, plus the story is super boring and not at all what I expect from a time travel/parallel universes drama. Dropped.

The first kdrama I watch where the ML is the adorable one while the SML is the asshole I wanna punch lol quite refreshing.
Glad I didn't mind the comments saying they hated Tae Woon (how's that even possible?) because I found him absolutely lovable, I just wanted to put him inside a snow globe and protect him from the world. FL is also super sweet despite the misleading synopsis. Definitely recommend this drama for those who love a heartwarming romance and cute characters.

Dropped it. ML is such a two-faced jerk, talks shit about FL behind her back. In Soon is such a lovely girl who's been through enough hardships in life, why the hell did the writers give her such a horrible ML?
I'll probably just watch Geun Soo's scenes, his storyline was the only one that got me invested.
