Also has anybody noticed that in Kdrama land there seems to be a particular pervision, for killing people with…
Yeah that's pretty common. Also stabbing. Maybe because in SK guns are so difficult to obtain that killers usually go for these other weapons. Guess the cliche is justifiable.
He looks really young in this picture, maybe it's an old picture? Because I'm watching High School Big Bang and he looks his age, around 30. Anyways, hope to see him in more dramas
Even though I'm kinda disappointed with the final episodes (spoilers below), I can't give this drama a low rating.…
The "amnesia" trope again, oh god WHY??? The story was going so well and they ruined it. Thankfully ML remembers everything, but not the supporting characters, so yeah, we had to watch a boring second take on the second couple's relationship *rolls eyes* Plus, we never got to see the fake writer get what he deserved and Chi Yan never became a famous writer to rub it in his face. That was the most disappointing thing for me, they focused on his wish to be a known writer, but scared to do so, for such a long time, and then after the "amnesia" this storyline was just dropped, never to be mentioned again except for a totally out of context encounter they had at a parking lot. This drama was amazing, but it took a disappointing route on the last few episodes.
Even though I'm kinda disappointed with the final episodes (spoilers below), I can't give this drama a low rating. It's soooo cute, funny, the romance is great and the acting is fantastic (especially by FL, a rookie actress!). 9/10 for me.
I just finished this drama and I gotta say that it’s absolutely adorable. I love the main leads chemistry. The…
Guess that amnesia thing really bothered everyone huh? So unnecessary, it made the last few episodes really draggy and boring, which is a shame because everything was going sooooo well! But overall it's a great drama, super funny and cute without being forced or cringy.
The poster is so melodramatic, I was expecting a heavy drama. But it's a great comedy! Had me laughing out loud many times. Once again I was fooled by a misleading poster hahaha
I feel you :) I watch cdramas when I feel like turning of my brain, so I watch them in between thrillers/melos/…
I'm sure it's fine if you turn off your brain, like you said, but there's a limit for things I can overlook. In only 3 episodes so many nonsense things happened that I couldn't keep on watching hahaha I feel like people are indeed less demanding when it comes to cdramas, but I'm just as demanding, if it's not good I'm not overlooking it just because it's a cdrama. I feel like if this was a kdrama, the rating would be below 6.5, but with cdramas people tend to be more lenient. But of course everyone has their own standards :)
Binge watching this because I LOVED Chef Hua and thought this would be similar... not disappointed. Same chill vibe and mouth-watering cooking scenes. The story is different enough to not make me bored, just the right amount of similarities.
This one deserved more episodes. A great concept, but it felt a bit rushed and the last episode left me yearning for so much more... still, an amazing short drama. Song Ji Hyo was absolutely stunning.
Absolutely amazing, 10/10 But the product placement on this drama tho hahahahahaha they managed to create the most ridiculous and absurd dialogues/lines for the product placements I've ever seen in any drama. It reminded me of a scene from Eulachacha Waikiki 2 where the guy who was an actor had to be in ridiculous situations to include the product placements for a role he got in a drama, only in this case the scenes were part of the actual drama hahaha at least it was good comic relief, though unintentional
I don't know how much I cried and laughed while watching this, wish it was longer * sigh * but I suppose every…
Aww your comment made me sad. It's never too late to experience those things though, like you said these dramas are idealistic, almost no one has had a youth with all of those things. But you can still have plenty of strong friendships or be passionate about stupid things (god knows that I still am hahaha) or try to ambiciously learn something new despite of your age. Hope you find at least some of that glory of those days you never had in your youth :) (And about the drama, I also wish it was longer......)
Yeah the second couple was what kept me going for so long hahaha maybe I'll just watch their scenes because I genuinely liked them, but unfortunately everything else is a snoozefest
