To this day, RTK is still the most iconic installment of the Queendom/Kingdom series. The performances here were the best, Kingdom groups had much bigger budget but still couldn't beat these underrated groups in terms of creativity.
I had dropped this drama many years ago, but decided to pick it up again now because I was in the mood for a food drama and I seem to have watched all the good ones already hahaha I don't remember why I dropped it, but I don't regret watching it all the way through now. The many loose ends were annoying, but the main plot was satisfying and the cooking scenes were superb. It made me really crave Chinese food!
If this drama follows western teen dramas, they can easily add a sex scene with each couple. Suho is a playboy,…
No disrespect, but I believe people watch k-dramas exactly because they are different from western shows. At least it was the case for me and many people I know, we got tired of the endless sex scenes, most of them completely pointless to the story. I prefer to watch a good story than tons of steamy scenes. Not saying this story is good 'cause I haven't watched it yet, but in general that's what made me drop western shows and fall in love with kdramas. But of course people have different tastes.
Such a heartwarming drama, a perfect coming of age story. Plus, the two songs the ML sings are soooo beautiful, his performances made my heart melt! With a few more episodes to develop things, it would have been perfect!
i'm in the middle, and to be honest i'm not that impressed, most of the reveals are super positive, but for me…
I'm really enjoying the drama, but the last part you said, I totally agree. It's disgusting seeing a grown man drooling over a high school girl, just WHY???
This was a good surprise. Even though it's composed by short clips, the storytelling is so good they almost feel like regular episodes. The bromance chemistry is on point, but of course I expected that since both lead actors are in the same band. Stan N.Flying!
Just finished this drama - and realized I finished it exactly 4 years after the last episode aired on Nov 20, 2018. Don't know why I put this off so much, it's a typical romcom but with sprinkles of very well performed drama here and there. The main couple is amazing, and though nothing really big happens, it didn't feel draggy at all to me. On the opposite, I was happy I didn't have to deal with backstabbers a**holes that usually exist in dramas where one of the leads is a big shot in a company. Not my favorite drama of all time, but it was definitely worth watching for the main couple.
I'm halfway through Ugly Alert and hadn't recognized her as AOA's Seolhyun, she was soooo cute and innocent in the drama, but later had a more sexy vibe in AOA. I love how charismatic she is, on screen and on stage!
Last few episodes were disappointing. But I'm giving it a 9/10 score because the first half was super funny and I love it when a webtoon-based drama uses all that webtoon visual aids (like that flower field when secondary couple met).
One of my favorite dramas ever. I love dramas that make me laugh hard and cry harder. Plus, 'Like a starlight' has to be one of the most amazing and iconic OSTs EVER.
The couple has really nice chemistry, and considering this aired 10 years ago, it has aged pretty well. But too bad the ex character has so much screen time, it kinda ruined the drama for me.

They deserved more screen time!
