She's a good female lead in general, but it's hard not to feel annoyed by her decisions sometimes. She's not unbearable to watch, but I'm not fond of her either lol

I didn't read the manhua, so my comment was about the drama only. But I strongly disagree they were fillers in the drama, after all they are part of the main characters. And honestly their romance was the only thing that made me watch it til the end, so kudos to whoever decided to create these characters for the drama. It should've been way shorter, that way I would've enjoyed it instead of feeling like it was a chore to watch it all the way through.
Not a bad drama, but definitely not worth watching 49 episodes... I give it a 7.5/10 because of Yeyuan and Hao Du as a couple, and Ashile Sun as an individual character and his relationship with She'er. There's so many filler scenes and unnecessary characters, I feel like this could have 30 episodes at most. Oh well, thank you, next.

It won't! This drama has the perfect pacing and character development. And it avoids the most annoying cliches of k-romcoms. I think you'll absolutely love it.

That sure was frustrating, but I found it realistic. REALLY rich and influent people like Tae Jin never pay for their crimes, ever. So I just decided to forget about him because I was so satisfied that the drama escaped so many annoying cliches in the final episode.
But why is Chak Hee listed as a main character? She barely has any screen time or relevance to the story....

Ohhh ok hahaha then I recommend Lost Romance, Serendipity, Extraordinary You and Mr. Bad. Other dramas with similar vibes I watched are W, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, and Unexpected, but these ones I didn't like much. But it's worth a try if you are a fan of the genre.
