Just as boring as Misaeng. I don't know why these two dramas have such good ratings. I love slice of life dramas, but honestly if I wanted to watch people who are unhappy with their professional lives I would just live my life lol I see no appeal in this kind of story
Mostly boring. Luckly, the bullying case episodes were in the beginning, so that kept me interested when I was thinking about dropping it, but honestly if I had dropped it, it wouldn't have been a bad decision. Main couple is annoying af, and it pains me to say this, because I absolutely love both lead actors. I would never rewatch it, but I think some people may like it.
Because romanization isn't an exact science. Sounds such as Z, V and F don't exist in the korean alphabet, but they can romanize ㅈ,ㅂ andㅍto fit these sounds because they are the most similar options in Hangeul. Therefore, it was her choice to romanize 수주 as Su Zu, instead of Soo Zoo, Soo Joo, Su Ju, etc. All romanizations are correct, but she chose Su Zu. Also, for SEO reasons I believe Su Ju wouldn't be a good option considering the kpop group Super Junior already uses this "nickname", so most likely when you google SuJu, you're gonna have results related to Super Junior and not the actress.
The first few episodes and the last few episodes are great, but the middle is draggy af... FL ruined most of the drama, ML carried the whole drama with his soft heart and charisma. I would give the drama a 8.5, but the middle episodes are so draggy that I had to lower it to 7.5
So I came here to know if they decided to ruin this drama by adding romance in season 2 (like Sweet home Ss2😒😤😭)…
Don't worry about that! There's no romance, the team is 100% focused on bringing justice to victims. I read somewhere that the actress who played the prosecutor on S1 couldn't find time in her schedule to shoot S2, so she's not here and isn't even mentioned. There is a light indication of maybe a romance between Go Eun and Do Ki, but honestly I think it's more of a one-sided crush on her end (who can blame her? lol), and it's only quickly mentioned in the last episode, so nothing to worry about.
I'd honestly watch 30 seasons of this drama. The fact that they have to play different characters to solve the cases makes it never get old. Plus, watching them bringing justice to people who were forgotten or ignored by authorities gives me such a high! The prosecutor from season 1 was not missed at all, her character was actually quite annoying and useless. Season 2 only benefitted from her absence.
I haven't watched the og, but I really liked the fl here if that helps
Thanks for your feedback, I'm confident to give it shot now. The plot in the original was superb, but the FL was so hella annoying it ruined the whole experience for me. If this remake has a plot just as good and a likable FL, it's gonna be perfect.
I think they started off awkward and then grew more natural as the relationship deepened. Compared to many cdramas, I didn't think the kisses were that bad lol there is far worse kissing in cdramas
It's not explosive chemistry, they're a cute couple with a sweet and solid relationship and they have a fair amount of kiss scenes. Super recommend it!
I didn't enjoy this season, the matriarchy thing was a great idea, but poorly executed. The plot was messy and uninteresting. Main couple's chemistry was the only thing I enjoyed, as always. I wish they had a whole season in today's world, like the beginning of season 2, it would've been much better.
I love dramas that make me FEEL things, actually feel them and not just watch them. This drama definitely made me feel a rollercoaster of emotions, especially when I passionately hated the ML in the first half of the drama. But mostly this drama made me laugh, it's a great romcom. 9/10 (maybe I'm being generous, but it's more about how much fun I had rather than the actual quality of the drama)
Straight up unserviceable junk!! Disjointed low-budget shallow story that had no redeeming qualities. There aren't…
This was one of the first dramas I've ever watched back in 2018. I have watched over 300 dramas since then and I can honestly say this is the absolute worst one. It's remarkable how bad it is, since the feeling of rage of wasting my time with it is unforgettable. I was reviewing my 'watched' list and decided to click on this one, and it's refreshing to know I wasn't the only person who passionately hated this junk.
I thought 36 episodes would be a lot for a romcom, but this one was exciting from start to finish. Kudos to the writers who knew how to give every character a great development and screentime, even the support cast, which made the drama not boring. Enjoyed every second of it!
Also, for SEO reasons I believe Su Ju wouldn't be a good option considering the kpop group Super Junior already uses this "nickname", so most likely when you google SuJu, you're gonna have results related to Super Junior and not the actress.
