I'm sad to be almost finishing this drama... I don't want it to end, I just wanna live in this story forever: the cozy feeling it gives me, the amazing chemistry between the leads, the cast's hypnotizing acting, the perfect video and music editing... MASTERPIECE
This drama is giving me Fight For My Way vibes. The plots are different, but both are about people in their late 20s/early 30s finding themselves both personally and professionally. I can relate to that a lot. Start Up is such an incredible drama, too bad people only made it about the ships *rolls eyes*
Personally, I really like the reboot. I thought it would be a lot worse and that I would compare it to the original all the time, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. The only character I couldn't enjoy here was the mother, the one in the original was A LOT funnier and more charismatic. But other than that, I love the new cast, especially Yuri as Ae Bong <3
It's really interesting to watch the creation of Hangul. This is a simple movie with not much conflict, but people who are interested in Korean culture, language and history will definitely enjoy it.
I love how the male lead fell in love with her when he ACTUALLY thought she was a man. And even kissed her while thinking that. Usually in these cross-dressing dramas, we find out later that the male lead always knew female lead was a woman, which is so disappointing. It was beautiful to see Ji-un falling for who she was, despite of her gender.
Did the leads get back together ?i read a comment that fl is his ex wife ?
Yes, they do get back together but there's no focus on it, they just share a brief kiss at the very last second of the drama, the main couple here is definitely Duk Gu and Mal Sook
I'm just glad the main couple had a happy ending that was completely unrelated to the palace and royal issues. The fight for the throne was never their problem anyway and I'm glad they didn't drag the main couple into it until the last second like most dramas do. It was deeply satisfying watching them being happy, away from all the palace drama, with their little boy and still madly in love with each other.
I wish Taeyeon had more interactions with the artists, especially when they were preparing the performances and stuff. I guess the title "Grand Master" made me believe she would give the girls some support, advice, etc. Oh well, what can I do? Still thoroughly enjoyed the performances and getting to know the groups a little better. Can't wait for their comebacks!
Okay, don't mind me, just let me pick up the pieces of my shattered heart... istg i cried for the last 40min of the movie nonstop... excellent film, that little girl is soooo adorable and i didn't know Park Shin Hye starred in this. great surprise.
I honestly hope this is not the official poster because god it is ugly af and it looks dated, like a poster from a 2005 drama lol (no hate to the DRAMA tho before any crybaby shows up here)
Was several years since i watched this drama. Maybe i should rewatch it next week after hearing they got engaged…
Can't believe that, after 10 years, they finally revealed they are together in real life. No surprise here, they really seem like a great match, they are both so tall and good looking, and clearly comfortable around each other. Hope they get their happily ever after in real life as well!
Rewatching this after 2 years and it's... so much better than I remember. I have watched a lot of c-dramas in these 2 years, and that has made me appreciate how PERFECT this drama is and realize how SUPERIOR it is to any other modern c-drama I have watched so far. First time I watched it, I gave it a 10/10. Now, I give it 1000000/10.
AMAZING drama, 9.5/10 for me. I loved every single thing about the story, if only the female lead character had been a bit more well developed I'd give it a 10/10. Still, one of the best dramas I've ever watched.
Is this a good watch for someone who doesn't like videogames/e-sports? I honestly have zero interest in this theme, but everybody seems to enjoy this drama so much. Is that a big part of the drama (to the point that someone who doesn't like games would feel bored)?
