haha I actually visited the place from meet yourself and the filming locations! absolutely beautiful! now that's propaganda I can take haha. the realistic kind and the drama brought so much tourism and attention to the ethnic minorities who lived in Dali too- a wonderful impact really!

I really want a super romantic show from some older actors - a kdrama like cdrama, who would make a good couple? maybe lixian? xu kai? Lin yi?

honestly this was a great drama! but I really do miss the relatable simple ones -- like romance without all those unrealistic career aspirations -- them being rich I get, but so productive. so motivated made me feel hopeless haha! I feel like shows like hidden love, put your head on my shoulder come with more slice of life and less propaganda! I mean I've lived in china and I love that country with my whole heart but sometimes I can easily tell when shows got the extra mile with doing good for the society concept going on. I could also pick on the message with encouraging viewers on living in second tier cities like suzhou and also wuxi over glamorising first tier city life (Shanghai). Felt like the time skip was unnecessary, would've been nice to see more of the loose ends tie up! but yes, great choice of main leads, they carried the plot!

im on ep 18 and I felt really heartbroken for Zhuang Xu -- im not saying I like him but to me it felt so frustrating to watch two people who liked each other never get the chance to explore what they could've been because there were a mountain of misunderstandings that stood between them and one also happens to be a lazy coward in love(Zhuang)! I mean I relate a bit cause I tend to feel super insecure when I like someone and im most likely to never let them know about it unlike brave xi Guang--- however I would say I'd be a bit better than Zhuang Xu and his misinformed self at the very least

can always trust lu si and jinmai to have the best outfits!!!

Must say the show is growing on me, way better than speed and love for me in terms of pacing and storyline
