I wouldn't say that -- it's just really hard to take the plot twists from the novel which prolly started getting the narrative in the last 10 episodes to feel underwhelming compared to 3/4 the show which was absolutely stellar. so it's kinda natural to feel the way. moreover the show carries the actors with a lot of aura and as audience I felt like every scene had to be wow, and you can tell they build that, but the story and the tale about the past isn't climatic enough to carry that weight

can someone who read the novel and who had access to express explain how Wei Yan's ending is--- is he really the bad guy or not regarding the massacre

dont hate me for this but I feel like kdramas have not been slayyin that much last year and this --- yes there were some good hits like bon apetit/ when the phone rings but barely holds a candle to those we see on reels or feel emotional about even if it's just a few seconds of OST --- like hospital playlist, crash Landin on you, romance is a bonus book, business proposal, dots, alchemy of souls were such gemss, hometown cha cha tooo .... now a lot on air feels very commercialised sell of what they think kdramas are --- sigh ---- meanwhile cdramas have been levelling up craaayyy!!

the FL is exactly that so many times in like every other show pliss! also according to the novel there's one more battle -- this was important to establish fan changyu as someone who is an equal to the wu an hou, that even without him she will hold ground. yes she might be a butcher, but that she was for less than a year but you're forgetting that for 18 years she was trained by her father to have no less skills than the same boy he trained years ago

I mean what's wrong with it though? the man is always cooking - this time there's nothing wrong to see the female lead --- I mean he is just there to be pretty and im loving this arc where she's main character! im assuming we're gonna get more of them together in this perhaps in the last 10 episodes now that the truth is out

ALSO DURING THE FIGHT AFTER THAT MOMENT WHERE SHE ALMOSTS WEARS I WAS EVEN EXPECTING HIM TO SHOWW UP - WU AN HOU- BECAUSE THATS THE TROPE RIGHT?! BUT THEN HE DIDNT AND SHE FINISHED IT OFF AND I WAS WHISTLING CLAPPING HANDS WHEN HE CAME AT THE END!! THESE WRITERS DESERVE A RAISE FOR NOT RUINING IT WITH THE MAN IN THE SHINING ARMOR COMING TO RESCUE!! HIS TIMING WAS PERFECT- AFTER THE SHOW- AND SHE MADE HISTORY - TO HAVE HER BACK AND SUPPORT AND MAYBEEE GET SLAPPED?
