Yeah its a bit upsetting they don't end up together but they have been the most physical with each other so far. Fang Feng Bei has some major flirting skills. I can't wait to see the wedding scene even if its just for gags on the show.

XL in Fang Feng Bei character scenes with the FL is crushing it, took my breath away with the scene when she sees him at the courtesan house. His flirtations with her when she poisoned him with the wine and how he pulls her towards him, temperatures are rising!

I saw the trailer sneak peeks for 23 or 24, how did Xiang Liu become FangFeng's brother? I might be in the minority but Xiang Liu and FL's storyline is so compelling and seductive!

Without watching S1, would the viewer be too lost watching S2 first?

I temporarily put it on hold but will resume it. While I was waiting for new episodes I ended up watching a few new shows. In my humble opinion at least from some of the KDramas I've watched so far, its a different approach taken by the story tellers. I felt it added more realism on the complexity of relationships so I appreciated it from that aspect. I respect the other reviewers who didn't like it for their reasons. Perhaps more new people may see it and there might be more positive reviews!

It's a binge worthy drama and you get some good laughs out of it. Kim Ji Hoon rocked his role in Money Heist and also this role too. Its funny how his love interest Lee Joo Bin in Money Heist is now the ex-GF of the ML.

Wow, the trailer for S2 looks even more intense. Moon Dong Eun ramping up to do the final take down of her enemies.

Anyone have any opinions on who may end up being the top 5 contenders? It seems there's a lot of hype with Yun Sung Bin the skeleton racer who won the 2018 Olympic gold. The competitors kept saying they are scared of him. Akiyama Yoshihiro/Choo Seong Hoon (MMA champ) death match was one of the best matches IMHO, both of the competitors were respectful, very skilled, and were pretty classy in their behavior. I hope he is one of them that makes it to the end. Kim Min Cheol the mountain rescuer seems to be underrated. I thought Agent H would make it hands down in the death match and was surprised he lost.

I hope so too. The story itself seems good. The new ML was the ML of Princess Agents, hope he can pull it off with the right charisma.

I plan to watch both, its disappointing Golden Hairpin has been held up for so long due to the ML recast.

It seems this drama is quite different from the unreleased Golden Hairpin adaptation, at least judging between the two trailers. The FL in the Golden Hairpin trailer is portrayed as a stronger tougher FL and the drama seems to be darker. Hard to tell though since this trailer is much shorter than the Golden Hairpin one.

Haha. Same here. I am slowly watching this, some of it I will fast forward or take breaks because its not a show that I can binge.
