I actually have the worst wishes for their little family. A thousand bad omens upon your cursed reunion, you backstabbing…
I hope they are miserable. I hope every day they doubt each other. I hope their kid gives them HELL. I also hope that stupid family bloodline will end and they will go extinct. stinky bastards. I will always be mad about this show. Forever!
I watched the trailer for this and the movie adaptation and they seem nothing alike! lol I wonder if different projects focused on different aspects of the novel, maybe?๐ค
Re-watching Oshin from episode 70.One thing I like about Ryuzo is that he loves only Oshin till the end. And Oshin…
And her unlukiest day! That man is the bane of her existence! Who cares if he likes her?! He tortures her with his spinelessness! This kind of affection is not devotion, it's a plague! I would rather never have love than the love of a pathetic man like Ryuzo
You know what pisses me off about this show? The fact that those prejudiced parents got what they wanted and afterward apologized to Meiko and their son. Betch, you should apologize to Makki! All of them should! A 15yo boy got pushed into a very mature relationship with an adult man (by his friend, no less), had to suffer the contempt of his family, got used all the time when he became too emotionally attached that he was literally skipping school to spend time with him, then got tossed aside when a convenient heterosexual family situationship presented itself and not a single person in this situation apologized to him. That is the heartbreaking thing here. Break ups happen. Few people end up with their first loves. Friendships sadly fall apart too, and that might actually hurt more, and these are all part of life. But Makki was just so mistreated in all of this. I felt so sorry for the poor guy. I keep going back to his reoccurring nightmare...poor thing. His worst fear came to life and no one even cared.
Surprisingly, I have seen many of the actors on this list; they are truly talented. They are also very different from the ones who came before them. So lovely! So nice!๐
