This is interesting! I didn't think too deeply about Ji Hyun's sense of self-awareness but I also thought that he was probably aware of his own sexual orientation but maybe he hadn't actually had any relationships before. Like he knew he was gay but this was his first time maybe meeting someone and seriously perusing something. I still stand by my theory that Jae Won might have had a little something before all this!lol Maybe not a full on affair or anything but maybe just an awakening, someone he was friends with that he became attracted to. And the ex gf knows. She just behaves like she knows!!! Also, unrelated but I think Ae Ri figured it out, too! It felt like she figured out what was going on when Ji Hyun ditched her to hang out with Jae Won and she's been cool about it the whole time.
okay, I'm really confused. In episode one, the woman who jumped from the cliff was actually evil and she died? and the woman who woke up in her bed is someone else?! *scratch head*

But if she was just the extreme jealous type, she would also get nasty to the freshmen girls because all the boys were already tripping over themselves to get with them and Jae Won is clearly popular among girls. Instead, she was super chill around the girls but was glaring at Jihyun from the moment she saw them have the most innocent interaction!
So I was thinking, does anyone else got the vibe that there may have been another guy in Jae Won's past? Because the ex-girlfriend has such an immediate, negative reaction to Ji Hyun, it feels like she already knows about them. Like she immediately saw Ji Hyun as a love rival, not just a new friend for Jae Won. So since the beginning, I've been wondering if there may have been another guy in the past and that's why she's acting the way that she is.

Oh this was so episode 8-coded! The whole hotel scene gave me the Skam vibes and the shocking ending had the same visceral impact as the end of that episode. The outfit that Ji Hyun bought, the lack of older characters, everything just reminds me of Skam!
