I honestly don't see the attraction.I think these cold and quiet men are only interesting when they reveal depth…
I have to agree. I look at the male leads I have liked in various shows and they are usually the ones who show emotions and have some sort of complexity. I feel like jfm was supposed to be like this too but he didn't pan out. At least not for me, not yet.
Oh I totally get it. This is the type of drama you either love or hate, but I find to love this drama you HAVE…
Yes, the characters are not really meant to be relatable or lovable. It's interesting, especially since a lot of conversation is raised about whether all characters should be likable or not.
I see this drama has high ratings and a lot of positive reviews but honestly, I'm currently skipping watching…
I have to respectfully disagree with you. I think the chemistry is very off and both male leads lack a depth of performance. I think the lacking passion is definitely a byproduct of the acting issues. As for romance, this story is not actually a romance but a historical fiction, so although there is romance, it's actually not a main concern of the plot. Unfortunately, a lot of viewers who cane into this expecting romance were disappointed but really the story is fun to watch if you lower that expectation.
In reality, being in a relationship with someone like Shifu would be so draining and restrained. Only in a xianxia…
I honestly don't see the attraction.I think these cold and quiet men are only interesting when they reveal depth and emotion as their character arc progresses. Fang Jianming is just the same as episode one. Not attractive at all.
Playing innocent but yet deadly he is like a snake in ones sleeve? However the actor playing the character is…
Idk if he's actually deadly. So far he's just a lil bitch! He's just the type of evil little brother that one would like to get rid of. I'm not the biggest fan of the emperor but you can just tell that the prince would be even worse than his brother. The actor reminds me of Nie Huaisang in The Untamed!
I can't stop thinking about how pointless the court's attempts at blackening Fang Jianming's name are. It's like…
See I was right though. The emperor and Haishi do have a better dynamic! It's not romantic but they just seem like they can be good co-conspirators! I actually think it'll be fun if they are just friends! He's not gonna r*pe her now...right?
I can't believe it took them 37 episodes to show us just what her mermaid tattoo was for! This whole time...she…
I can't stop thinking about how pointless the court's attempts at blackening Fang Jianming's name are. It's like trying to bad mouth someone's alter ego to that same person!
I can't believe it took them 37 episodes to show us just what her mermaid tattoo was for! This whole time...she could levitate pearls and they never once mentioned it?!

I watched their One and Only video, and now I just want to rewatch that ! :(
