So either they have to re shoot some scenes or this may not happen because of the ban
Based on?

No offense but I don't trust the person who made this video. This seems like someone saw all the rumors going…
Nope, I'm gonna rant now!
The person from this video makes claims that not even Chinese people have made about the ban!
"Effeminate" and "pretty" are a long way apart!
Based on what this person is saying, C-ent is going to have to start importing male actors because everyone under the age of 40 will fall into the "banned" category! This is a very broad interpretation of what the regulation supposedly is about and it seems more in line with western assumptions about East Asia and Asian cultures as a whole than what the ban has said. I'm actually insulted by this person's interpretation and yes, it's just an interpretation.
I think we need to stop over-analyzing this new ban because it's not leading anywhere and every time something new comes out, it just gets more and more convoluted. We're also ill-equipped to interpret the information so we are relying on people who are clearly feeding off our fears of the ban, flaming anti-asian and anti-chinese sentiments that are growing around the world right now, and just thriving on drama.

No offense but I don't trust the person who made this video. This seems like someone saw all the rumors going around and got them all in one place and took them as truth. Their other videos are all based on rumors too and they mostly shared how they are interpreting the rules so I don't think this has any actual weight behind it.

So apparently, he was fired because of his inappropriate behavior involving a woman. Not sure what the exact details…
Though very handsome, chenggang just gave me an off vibe. I could tell Simei's insistance on good looks and epic romance would lead her to a bad relationship so I was skeptical of her choice the whole time.

Impossible! Rynn goes far and beyond with her translations to capture even double meanings and allusions.
If you are referring to the different wording in the manhua, it's either a mistranlation on their part or the sentence was toned down for censorship reasons. Same with the stuff with Rong jiu.

I did notice! And I guessed he either raped a woman or was involved with a man for it to be considered really serious. The show was super vague about it so I thought I missed something there.
Yicheng always says he won't help her but he helps her anyway! Lol

Never like Xiaomo, she's moody and unappreciative, esp when Erqiang came to walk her home from work. She got upset!…
She was upset because she was caught in the middle of her indiscretion. She was so scared that he'd know she was actually staying late to fool around with the boss that she got defensive.
I just can't believe everyone forced Erqiang to marry her when the two of them barely talked when they were together.

I'll maintain the opinion that the worst partner so far is definitely Ling Zi who took advantage of Qiqi and then ruined his life and eventually tossed him aside. She's so scary.

If you put yourself in Xiao Mo's shoes, she initially wanted to cut ties with her former lover because he doesn't…
It was a very good situation for her because even though she was the one who was cheating both emotionally and physically the whole time, she got to leave the marriage on a moral high ground by making Er Qiang look like the one who did something wrong. That definitely was factored into her decisions.
She wasn't a pleasant character but I sort of feel sorry for her and pity her.

Hmm, I personally think artistic shot of the couple fighting with their wedding photo (or one with a detailed…
Yes, I decided the artistic angst-riddled shot of the fight would work better. To be honest, the couple were never happily married. It was a marriage of convenience and it ended when it became an inconvenience. So misery shot it is!
Thanks for weighing in on this.

Well it depends on how these two are related. If one is a result of the other. If so then showing the wedding…
Yeah, I decided to go with the couple fighting one. It was a very iconic moment and it was at the beginning of the episode. The wedding was for a different couple and from the end of the episode so sort of a spoiler. They were both important to the whole picture of the show but I think the most memorable moment from that episode is definitely the fight! Everyone would talk about that so it made more sense. Thanks for the input!

Oh absolutely! I thought when she mentioned Su Qin being pregnant and then calling them shameless and everything, she was actually talking about herself. She was shaming herself by projecting on them. She's a very tortured character.
I vomited my feelings about the scene on a comment from a couple days ago so I won't repeat them but I totally agree. She was miserable too and she just used this as an excuse to ask for a divorce and it was very liberating for her but also painful. Sort of like childbirth. I thought that scene was done very well. It was sort of brilliant.

ok, so imagine an episode of a show that starts with a very emotionally draining fight between a married couple and ends with a different couple's wedding. Which one should represent the episode?
1. Artistic shot of the couple fighting
2. Pink and fluffy wedding photo of the other

Sanli putting MIL in her place was SO SATISFYING! 😂 I had a big smile on my face as I watched her, she's definitely…
I don't think Erqiang is out of line in any serious way? I do believe him when he says he has no bad intentions. The show constantly says he is slow which I'm going to take as just being a person who doesn't have any ulterior motive behind his actions. As for 8 year age gap...it's not to my personal taste, no matter which partner is the older one but I still don't think it's as outrageous as the others make it out to be.
As for Xiaomo, while she is extremely illogical and hypocritical, I do understand the motives behind her actions. She's actually not in love with Erqiang at all either and she just tries to convince herself that he's a good person for her to love. Despite all that, she's miserable. So when she found a chance to make a public spectacle that can warrant her getting a divorce for any reason that is not her own discretion, she took that chance. That's why she waited to confront them at the rink and not privately. She was basically telling Erqiang that she is as miserable as he is and they should just end this. Here, the whole "erqiang is slow" thing comes back and why I think it's underselling the character. Because he totally understood what she was doing and he agreed to the divorce because he too realized that Xiaomo was actually giving him an out with her over-the-top reaction.
It was a very emotionally charged scene because they both have some sentimental feelings for each other but they both love other people. Xiao mo needs Erqiang more than he needs her, though. They both knew that and they both knew he stayed with her out of a sense of gratitude. So Xiao mo was actually freeing him from his debt and it was devastating for her to do it but she's also relieved. I don't know. I liked that and now I've ranted about it on your old comment. Sorry...

This might be a very unpopular opinion but the really weird romantic life of Erqiang is so fascinating for me. He and Xiaomo both loved other people and they had such a limp-noodle married life but their separation is so melodramatic and emotional and theatrical. I loved a good effed-up storyline.
