The news might be on official chinese sites only? I can't open any chinese sites so I don't know if there's anything on them. I tried mangotv but it didn't open.
think like this, if it would effect BL adaptations then would TGCF production team continue shooting and basically…
All actors have make up on. If they don't put on make-up, features will get blown out in the light and the skin will be shiny and that is a b*tch to fix in post-production! lol I think they are specifically targeting heavy make-up. This might be the end of those cool make up campaigns by male artists. It's so sad too because that was such a deviously brilliant way to sell stuff. Like when they put women-in-bikinis on cars to sell them to neanderthal men but make it revenge-feminist in a very capitalistic way...maybe that's why the government dislikes it...hmm
I'm still confused with the ban of effeminate men on TV in China. Many Chinese netizens are saying that it means…
Yes, it's haters spreading rumors about BL shows that are getting spread by scared fans. So far, the regulators are SPECIFICALLY targeting idols and singers, like boybands. It's not about bl or gay people or anything like that.
Wait, for real???! For real?I remembered asking about it couple weeks back, and now you tell me it’s airing??This…
Apparently it's scheduled to premiere in two days. We should all just keep quiet and see if it appears or not. Because if it does, then that would be amazing.
It does get better; she did repent towards the end.
Yeah, this is not my first rodeo! This happens in a lot of family dramas like this. My country has one in every show!😂😂😂 So far the show has been so good at showing both the good and bad sides of a single person. Everyone is more complicated than just being good and bad. One minute you are frustrated with one person, the next you are rooting for them. It's very good.
Is this your subtle way of saying our hopes for a February 2022 premiere are crushed too?
No, I don't know about the rules applying to web series, probably not. I just know that this year was very sensitive because of nationalistic events and a lot of people predicted that shows airing in these months will run into trouble and it's best not to air anything controversial in these slots.

We already knew this might happen for the September/October lots. There's another nationalist event, I think? That's why people said it's unlikely hyx would air before October. They said the safest time for it to air is around November/December. So this might mean nothing for hyx.

Let me guess. She gets sick and her favorite son and daughter-in-law forsake her but San Li takes care of her? If it happens like this, it'll both be the oldest trick in the book but also sadly very true to real life.
