The most interesting thing about chinese Bl dramas for me is that, their quality is much better than similar shows made in other countries, the character arcs and plots are usually more mature and complex too. I also just enjoy watching how scriptwriters manage to write their way around the restrictions but that's not specific to this genre. I just like to see how writers manage to put forbidden concepts in stories and explore them despite the scrutiny on the content.
