I think the normal reaction would have been to handle the situation as quietly as possible. They made so much noise. Abortion was the logical option given the circumstances. If the situation had been investigated, then it would have been revealed that he was the victim and she was the rapist.
I feel so sorry for the kid. How old even is he? Is he 20 yet? Probably not.
