That I understood, but she was on her deathbed so I had hoped that with her last moments with him, even if she couldn't truly be herself again, she could have thanked him for all those years that he accompanied her and genuinely smiled at him. She didn't even need to tell him that she loved him because no matter what, he will always love her. I do want to see them paired up again though.
I saw a couple of videos on bilibili hating on this drama before it's even made. They cannot think of a remake…
Chinese Paladin 5 was my favorite! Don't get me wrong - Chinese Paladin 1 is and will always still be a classic, and Chinese Paladin 3 had a strong ensemble cast, but I liked Chinese Paladin 5 for its simplicity, less angst in comparison to the other two, and even Nuwa's descendant and the demons were a bit more appreciated.
Sometimes, it's better to have all the focus on just one prime couple or max 3 couples - at least for me.
I think I get what you mean. Idk how the anime is, but I've seen some adaptions of Fairy Tales of Liao Zhai if you know what I mean - is it something like that?
Pretty good. I liked it! Definitely heartbreaking but in a good, sad way. I just wished our FL had shown a bit more affection and gave a genuine smile/laughter towards the ML. And, Li Fei slays yet again! He needs a full-length drama so that I can stare at him longer! Never seen FL before, but she's pretty and can act quite well as the anti-empress dowager. One thing I was trying to understand was the timeline events - FL said she was now 30 years old, old emperor was dethroned when she was 25 years old, and she was forced to go into the palace when she was 20 years old, but the maid told 2nd lead that she had lived in the palace for 15 years, which didn't make sense LOL. ML was younger than FL and he first saw her when he was 15 years old so I'm assuming he was 5 years younger than her, which makes him 25 years old while she was 30 years old.
For a drama which started out so promisingly, this was utterly disappointing.**Major spoilers ahead**People don't…
Facts! We're on Team Sunoh not mainly because of Song Kang, but because 1st season was mainly about his and Jojo's relationship and he never did anything wrong to justify their weird break up nor deserved it.

Well, ask yourself this. If NSH chose to live, he would only be living his life as KYJ (Who is not him) and not as NSH. NSH ALSO didn't know that he would time traveled to be in KYJ's body so is it his fault that he chose to die in KYJ's body when KYJ was already meant to die before NSH took over. They may look alike but are two very different people. You were talking about the unfairness to KYJ and his family, but what about NSH's mom, who is waiting for her son while he was in a vegative state. The only reason NSH's body was in a vegative state in the first place was because his soul was no longer there (Again, we as the viewers know but NSH's mom doesn't know) and technically he is not dead yet. So, is it still okay for NSH to live as KYJ, but not as NSH? Is it okay to have empathy towards KYJ and his family, but not towards NSH and his family?...Yes, it may be deemed as disregarded, but the writers had already let the audience (We the viewers) know that KYJ had passed already. It's a plot device where it just wasn't implored whether NSY knew if KYJ passed or not. So, it's not the character's fault but the fault of the writer or director not showing this.

1. That was never elaborated so I'm not sure. We as an audience know, but I'm not sure if NSH knows. One clue is NSH never got KYJ's memories like HJH got from KMJ's memories because he's already dead. Maybe KYJ's mom and sister could have told him that his heart stopped for a few seconds. Again, never elaborated. 2. This question would have a better answer if question 1 was clarified. To my understanding, KYJ was meant to die on that plane, but NSH just chose to die as he knew he couldn't escape his fate. NSH surviving doesn't change the past. If NSH as KYJ survived, his life will get altered but what changes is the question and can he really escape death from the killer like Oh chan yeong? The whole point of this time travel was never about KYJ. It was about NSH and HJH finding eachother and saving Kwon Min Ju. By saving her, no one would have to time travel and I'm assuming that KYJ still dies in that car crash with his lover as he should.
In episode 9 (the airport scene), I find the ml (Nam Si Heon from the past) really selfish to get on to the plane.…
Go rewatch the scene when KYJ was brought to the hospital after the accident. KYJ was dead when he was brought to the hospital - his heart stopped. The doctors were barely a close second to announcing that KYJ was dead, however, the body came alive only because NSH's soul went into the body. Meaning - NSH came into KYJ's body only after KYJ was dead.
And honestly, NSH gave more years to make memories as KYJ as KYJ's life was cut short so no college days for KYJ.
NSH in KYJ's body is supposed to die during that plane crash. I don't see how this is already not a straight forward meaning that what will happen, has to happen. NSH only knew about his death because his future self had told him about it. If present NSH didn't know about his death, he still would have blindly gotten on that plane and died.
