Tbh the only thing that bother me a little is that our five protagonists, even if they're bestfriends with each…
For the last paragraph, I think you mistook who I was talking about - it was Jun Wan, not Andrea. Unfortunately Jun Wan hasn't shared who he was dating with anybody...

I do see your point with not sharing some things with your friends. I too turn to different people for different advice/support. But if there's no sharing between 99rs, they should at least confide in other people. As far as I see, Andrea is suffering alone with his doubts right now, Jun Wan hasn't shared anything with anyone either (apart from Jae Hak, but that was very small). We didn't see what happened durig time skip, but he surely hasn't told anyone that he knows Ik Sun is back... Ik Jun is keeping it to himself that he has confessed to Song Hwa... There's just too much they're keeping to themselves, rather than turn to someone else for support. I also don't thing age makes them deal with worries without the need for other's advice. Rosa and Director have perfectly fine friendship for example, and they need each other's support even though they are even older... That's what I wish I saw with our 99rs.

He shouldn't have.
Yes, I agree with the theory that Ik Jun saw a picture of Jun Wan. I guess we'll find out if he was the one who intervened in the next episode. I was feeling weird about the preview too, like did Ik Sun jump out of the train so that they didn't get to talk or what lol? They're dragging it out so unnecessarily...

I agree with you, especially with the fact that you might not share everything with the whole group of your friends. But at the same time, you should share your worries with one person at least (if you do have people close to you, and in this situation they do). It's painful for me to watch characters I love suffering on their own, when they're supposed to have a group of very close friends.

An example from the same writer for me would be Reply 1988. The main characters are a close group of friends, but they don't share everything with everybody. But most things are nonetheless shared, they tend to seek advice and comfort from each other. Some things are of course secret for some time, but I feel that there was always somebody who learnt them at some point in time.

And in HP here we have Jun Wan, 2/3 of S2 gone and he hasn't admitted to anyone who his gf was... The most painful scene for me in ep8 was Jun Wan and Andre drinking with each other. Why didn't they talk honestly? No idea, seriously no idea...

Maybe I'm feeling that way because I binged HP season 1 and reply series as well, whereas I watch HP2 on weekly basis so it stands out more...

I'm in the minority but I don't mind Ik-Jun and Song Hwa staying friends. She is not in love with him and I hope…
Yeah, I'd be fine if they were to stay friends as well. But I have a strong feeling that they will still end up together, with some cliche situation like "Ik Jun exwife coming back and trying to get back with him" or "new girl trying to flirt with Ik Jun" and Song Hwa realizing that she loves him after all... And in that moment I'll be mad, because there wasn't any development from her side. Usually I'd say that the writer stays away from such cliches, but given Ik Sun and Jun Wan's plot right now, I'm getting doubtful.

Song Hwa to Ik Jun: "How did you even think to get this for me?"Ik Jun (the snack thief): "Because I love you"Seriously…
The scene between Rosa and Gyeo Ul was the cutest. Glad that the Winter Garden couple is getting more various scenes. But Andrea seems to feel uneasy... I just want everybody to be happy, but everyone is hurting! Maybe apart from Suk Hyung, he seemed to be relaxed and playful this episode, that was really good to see.

I say Yes...it's the simple things sometimes that makes a person suddenly look at someone in a totally different…
I also think that they will be together in the end. But I'm not entirely happy about how they're progressing at the moment. It's clear how Ik Jun is feeling, but they should show us a bit more of Song Hwa's side. If she just decides in the 12th episode to get together with him I will just feel that the whole season was wasted. If the writers wanted them to be together, they should have started the relationship after last season's confession. I don't feel like Song Hwa's feelings have changed at all (besides the talk she had with Lee Kyu Hyung's character, but that was back in ep 3 or 4?)

He shouldn't have.
I'm actually not sure he has, cause in the next ep's preview he was telling Ik Sun that Jun Wan knows that she's in Korea. Why would he, if he knew that they met up? And it was the last possible ride on that distance if I remember correctly, so I think that it was his scheme. But ofc the scene from the trailer might be a flashback or writer playing with us.

YES. I'm sorry but it's just so sad to watch. In this week's episode we got:- Jun Wan not telling Andrea (or anybody)…
Haha sure, hope I haven't spoiled anything!

I really hope Iksun can redeem herself on ep 9 cause at this point I just want Junwan to completely move on and…
I agree completely... I actually hope they have a proper talk at last and go their seperate ways. I don't like how the writers handle this plotpoint at all. One episode we get to see them almost meet (when Jun Wan sees Ik Sun in the car), the next one Jun Wan learns that she is back in Korea, and the next they finally meet... It's been so dragged out and just one circumstance after another. Just let the poor boy move on.

Whenever some tragedy happens with any of the main characters, i get confused. like what kind of bff are they…
YES. I'm sorry but it's just so sad to watch. In this week's episode we got:

- Jun Wan not telling Andrea (or anybody) about being hurt due to the fact that Ik Sun is back
- Andrea not telling Jun Wan that something happened to Gyeo Ul (eventually Ik Jun at least found out, but that's due to Gyeo Ul being a doctor at his department. Andrea hasn't told anybody that he's worried about her or about the fact that the engagement didn't succeed)
- Andrea not telling Gyeo Ul that his mom's sick (I know that he didn't want to worry her, but still... Proving the point that nobody's talking to each other here)

At least we got Song Hwa telling Ik Jun about her mother. And the healthiest couple out here, Rosa and Jong Su - both of them share their worries with each other almost immediately (Jong Su about his chilren, Rosa about her health).

I know that when you're a group of friends, you tend to have persons you are closest to, and some things you don't want to share with everybody. But at least SHARE WITH SOMEBODY. Why are they suffering on their own when it's a show about friendship? What lesson do we get here, what are friends for, only for eating with each other? Jun Wan hasn't told anyone about his situation for the most part, Ik Jun is also hiding the fact that he likes Song Hwa & hiding the fact that he knows about Jun Wan and Ik Sun, Andrea seems to know that sth is wrong with Gyeo Ul, but she keeps telling him otherwise and he looks really hurt this episode... At least Song Hwa and Suk Hyung share their worries with others.

Maybe it's not relatable for you, sounds cliche, unexusable even for having abusing parents because you never…
Man, who ever said I hate her? Critisizing the plot doesn't equal hate towards a character. And even if I will ever grow to hate her (which in the end should be blamed solely on the writers, and is not always a bad thing to show us there are people which we like and which we don't), I definitely didn't from the beginning, quite the opposite, and I think that goes for most people here, so calm down XD

How could Andrea know that she hasn't opened up to him yet, if she doesn't let him know? In my mind, it would just be better for writeres to postpone that plot (proposal) 2-3 episodes, and not start it at this point.

As for the words I retracted from her letter, I admit that It might not be 100% accurate, as I don't have a vpn only on my laptop. Didn't she write more of "if you contact me, I might not be able to answer?" It's pretty similar for me to just saying "you shouldn't contact me for now". But if my reasoning takes too far, my bad.

First of all - we're not even sure that that's what's happening (family abuse). It's just a fan theory, I wouldn't use it as and all and be all argument.

Second of all - the "cliche" for me here is the fact that this whole situation ruined Andrea's proposal - this problem shouldn't be introduced in such a moment in my opinion. For me it's just another version of "he's just about to confess his love - but suddenly his best friend comes in his room and ruins everything" cliche, and it just brings Andrea more unnecessary bad things happening around him.

Even if the theory of abusive father is true, there are hundred better ways to handle that situation maturely. When someone explicitly asks you, like Andrea, to share your burdens with him, you should be aware the pain you bring him by not explaining your situation in the slightest. She could have at least mentioned that her mother is in a hospital, without giving more explanation.

Maybe all people with trauma are different, I can't speak for everybody. But right now, this season shows us only 1 way to cope with it - the same with Ik Sun and Gyeo Ul. Rather than talk to their partners, they try to solve the problem by themselves and just suffer on their own - and make their partners suffer as well, because they are unaware of what's going on. And in my view, that is not what relationships are for.

how hard is it to say "my mom got in an accident", they're doctors, they hear those words daily.. at worse he'd…
Oh yes, I agree all the way. This episode just made me very sad for everybody. Andrea for getting such a text from Gyeo Ul & his mom being sick, Jun Wan for learning that Ik Sun is in SK... All those things, so easily avoidable if they would only talk to each other...

I love slice or life genre. Being it a drama, anime or a book, things from this category are some of the best for me. My favourite korean movie is "Little Forest" and believe me when I say, almost NOTHING happens in terms of any plot developments. And that is okay, because I find the movie to be well thought-out, and relatable for me.

Then, after the long introduction, I must write about HP2 - and episode 7 was simply MEH. I watched it last night, and I don't even remember most that happened. I mostly remember that it was really heartbreaking for me to watch THRRE characters hung up on other for 1- 2 years (Min Ha, Ik Jun and Jun Wan). It's sooo freaking unhealthy. I can't imagine supporting my friend in such a long unrequited love. All of them confessed, and they're not some high school anime teenagers to be dreaming about one true love their entire lifes. Scenes of those pairs don't bring me joy, they bring me sadness for all that lost time they could have been happier together of separate.

And, as some of the comments already mentioned- why do we have to have a cliche failed engagement? I get that winter garden couple has to encounter huddles, but do we have to have it this way? And writing Andrea "I can't tell you what's happening, don't contact me?" No excuse for that. Not even when you have abusive parents. At least be in contact with him. Otherwise they will end up like Ik Sun and Jun Wan, keeping their stresses to themselves. I really don't appreciate such inconsiderate and cliche plots.

It just seems to me that writers had enough material for S1, and for S2 they just went with the flow - and this series lost it's charm for me. There were some stand outs this season (like ep 1 and 4) but I find myself more and more distanced from what's happening. It's not that I wait for more romance from the couples that aren't together - I just feel that they will get together at the very end of S2, and all of those episodes will just feel wasted for a cheap thrill at the end. At least winter garden had some growth throughout S1 - Song Hwa and Ik Jun have been on the same page this entire season, the same with Chu Chu couple - I don't see them developing, warming up to each other, nothing. Heck, we even had a time skip and nothing changed for ANYBODY - Song Hwa didnt realise she loves Ik Jun yet, Chu Chu couple didn't even go on a date, 1 attempt left, Jun Wan is just sitting there and getting more and more terminal kid patients, as if he wasn't suffering enough. I don't know what this season lacks, but I find S1 way superior unfortunately. I will be watching further, don't get me wrong, but it certainly is not the same as it used to be.

Honesty I feel bad fir Minah. I hope she ends up being chased by him and makes seok hyeong jealous or smth.
I honestly feel like it's a weird situation right now, considering that she didn't want to give up on him in ep 5, and then right after that we got a time skip. I really hope they had some development in the meantime, cause I feel bad that she has been pursuing him for such a long time (1,5 year? damn). But I guess we'll get more info on their relationship in the next episode.

Dude ,I’m still a little bit confused.Marriage after being together 1 year and a month?Huh?Why so fast?
At Andrea's age, it would seem weird if he dated without the intention to get married, considering his character. They both have a stable job and know what they want from life, there's actually no reason for them not to get married if they love each other. And age is one thing, but I think that religion is another. We already know that he's spending a lot of time at her place, and he probably would like to move in with her, but that would be against christian religion. Also, they worked with each other for more than 2 years, so it's not that they weren't acquaintances before they started dating, and had a lot of opportunities to see each other in different circumstances. Everyone's situation is a bit different, but I think this scenario does suit them as characters.

I think it was necessary for Suk min to go away. Cuz it made him realise that he is still lacking a lot in terms…
I'd agree, if he had more of a character arc this season. But I had no idea if he was even still a doctor or not, and a lot of people as well - when I asked about it here, I got answers that he's preparing to civil service exams. Like, in ep 6 I got info that he was probably too confident in the past - but I didn't see it, there was no build up, and therefore didn't see a change in his behaviour... It could have been a nice plot but it felt luckluster...

Ik-jun is probably "allowing" this because he knows his sister was in the wrong and his best friend deserves better.…
More like he couldn't even fight her on it... As she wasn't answering his calls and didn't mention that she's not in England anymore... Gosh, it's so unhealthy for him to be still hung up on her after such a long time, poor Jun Wan...

This episode had a lot of cool moments!
- As the Winter Garden simp I am, I squeaked when Andrea mentioned his plans for marriage! Go Winter Garden!
- I also low key love that this season gave us scenes of Jun Wan and Andrea living together. It's awesome to see their interactions as flatmates.
- The proposal scene was hilarious XD
- The theme of the episode - that it's ok to make mistakes - is also really great.
- I am so proud of all of our dear residents becoming fellows!

But, being the critical sucker I am (sorry, I just like to discuss both kinds of things, the good and the bad), I have some more thoughts:
- We finally learnt what Suk Min was doing the whole time. Is it just me, or did it feel unnecessary to make a mistery out of it? Kinda weird decision to move him in the first place, when it didn't change a thing and he came back not long after.
- The same with Song Hwa going to Sokcho branch. It had no impact on me to see her come back to Yulje, cause it seems like she was always there. I get that it was to show us that doctors have to take care of themselves, but I wish they developed the plot more, showed us some Sokcho cases or something. I just feel that we wouldn't lose anything if this plot was left out.
- Poor Jun Wan. Of course he can't get over Ik Sun after that break-up. The only thing keeping him away from her I feel is that he thinks that she is in England and she wasn't responding to his calls. But that's also the reason why he can't get over her. So sad that he didn't get a clean breakup. I hope he won't feel lonely for much longer, but I don't want for him to get back to her, I'm still mad...
- WHERE IS U-JU THIS SEASON ARE YOU KIDDING ME
