On As Long as We Both Shall Live Oct 13, 2023
After watching the anime of this, I'm curious to see if this movie will render the light novels justice. Hopefully I will not be disappointed. The trailer definitely looks promising.

Edit: This movie was executed very nicely and I believe the actors were chosen perfectly, especially Miyo! I do however, wish it had been made into a drama. Perhaps it's just me, as I tend to like series over movies. I definitely recommend this movie, it was a good, worthwhile watch! It seems as though there will be a sequel, and I look forward to watch it!

I started the webtoon of this a while ago, so I'm curious to see how this drama will be played out. I'll be waiting for more episodes to be out before I start watching this.

I love, love love this! And I can't believe the rating is this low. I feel it doesn't render this show enough justice. The characters were so interesting, and the crossdressing aspect of this drama was a very nice twist! I think the cast was chosen very nicely, and although I have not read the manga (only watched the anime), I suspect this series is pretty close to the original. I totally recommend, and I'll be re-watching this sooner rather than later 😁

I noticed some people complained about there not being 'enough' romance in this drama. I don't think it's a matter of there being or not being enough romance, but rather, the fact that there are many other messages and themes being conveyed in this series--more than just crushes or romance. Not even the anime has that much romance anyway. I think we should just appreciate this series for how it is, that is, a great drama.

I'm watching this on YouTube, and let me tell you, it's great! Honestly, this might easily be the best adaption of the story!

Dropping this for now. I know many of the comments below seem to express how great this drama is, but honestly, I feel like it's way too draggy for my own taste. I think someone already mentioned this, but the beginning is rather slow, and I personally didn't find myself hooked enough to continue viewing. I might come back to it after a while, but for now, I just don't find myself interested.

Currently watching and loving it like crazy! At this point, I'll be completing this in less than two days. A truly amazing, heartwarming drama. The cast is perfect and the plot is so realistic and sweet. I really recommend this to anyone who loves some great romance!

Started watching this today, and I have to say that I'm quite hooked! This is rather similar to Love and Redemption, which I'm also in the process of watching. I admit, I had to adapt a bit to the slightly older-looking CGI, as this was made in 2018 and technology has been advancing like wildfire these past years. Nevertheless, the FL's smile really makes up for that. It's so pretty and natural! I read in the reviews below that some people ended up stalling this drama for a while, especially towards the middle, but hopefully that's would be my case (I have a serious issue with stalling series 😭) Anyway, I'm sure this will be a great watch!

I am a huge fan of Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers). I've watch all the remakes but this one just tops them all! I honestly didn't expect anything less from an older Taiwanese drama. The acting is amazing, the actors look very much like the characters in the original Japanese manga--not to mention that this series is way more faithful to it's original source than the rest of the remakes.

Title Princess Hours Spoiler
I tend to really enjoy and look for older dramas, so when I happened upon Princess Hours, I immediately began to watch it. Not to mention the very unique setting of the story (Korea as a constitutional monarchy). The first few episodes were interesting, and kept me almost on edge for the ones to come. The FL was clumsy but relatable in a way, and I initially thought she was quite mature to choose to marry the prince in order to help her family out--yet, it turned out she wasn't quite as mature as I thought. While I can perfectly understand and sympathize her not being used to the court life, that is to be expected, so I really didn't find it necessary to have so many dramatic moments of her crying for various reasons. Also, while it's true she just needed a shoulder to lean on (the second prince,) I find it a bit childish of her to have done so in such a blatant and naïve way--knowing that she's the crown princess and there's probably journalists everywhere video-taping her every move (much like what happened to the crown prince when he visited Thailand.) There were various things that made me question the logic behind each episode. There's multiple other things I'd like to say about this series, such as the relationship between the FL and ML, but I don't want to make this review too long. All in all, this was a cute series with definitely an older, more nostalgic feel compared to the newer k-dramas. Much of the drama throughout the series is not to be taken seriously, and, at least for me, it was mostly just a series to pass the time with a unique and interesting setting. I'm rating this series as an 8.0.

Fun watch and some interesting dark twists to the classic Cinderella tale. I was particularly pleased with the lovely costumes and make-up. Definitely recommended.
