I'm sorry you did not enjoy this. I find this drama to be very well-written and quite realistic; men aren't perfect, and although the trope is overused way too often, the 'cold rich guy' type tends to be accurate most of the times. While the ML is possessive, as you pointed out, the FL is intelligent and is not afraid to talk back at him. That's what I like about this relationship. Is it a bit toxic? Yes--but the whole storyline is, and that's what attracts most people. If we didn't have stories like these, we'd be watching dramas about John Smiths and Mary Sues. :)

I agree, except I have a horrible, horrible attraction of toxic fictional men. 😂😁 Also, I don't know which version of Hana Yori dango you watched, but in the manga, Domyoji ends up changing and kinda 'repenting' for all the horrible things he did. And even though he doesn't actually completely break down and become a saint, it's very refreshing to see how he changes--even as slowly and gradually as it may be. However, it's also true that in the manga he's actually much more violent than in any adaption of the story, sooo...smh.
Well done drama and watching it in 2023 kept my interest throughout - great dialogs and relationship development…
Everyone's talking about his funky outfits! 😂 I think it's kinda cool, actually. I get the feeling that he's just eccentric, like most rich people are, lol. Also, I couldn't help but compare his outfits to Domyoji's ultra trendy/funky clothes in Hana Yori Dango. 😁
Don't know why the rating is so low. On VIKI it's really high and everyone is saying it's really good. Currently on the fifth episode--needless to say that I'm enjoying it a lot!
It's so annoying when VIKI ratings are drastically different from ratings on here. On VIKI, "You are my Destiny" is sitting at a whopping 9.4 with 173,899 ratings. And then I come over here, see the low-ish rating, and terrible reviews. Which one is it?!
