This was very cute! The plot was interesting and the characters likeable. The only thing that was annoying was the length. I definitely did some skipping around between scenes. Nevertheless, a fun watch. I recommend if you are looking for something lighthearted but with more mature themes, such as one-night stands and pregnancy.
Same here! I tend to prefer c-dramas over k-dramas as well. I feel like when c-dramas are well-made, they can be absolutely stunning. I'm currently watching a c-drama called Scarlet Heart. It's the first version of Scarlet Heart Ryeo (k-drama)---needless to say the cinematography is stunning, even for it's age, and the outfits, THE OUTFITS! My heart! β€π Not to mention the chemistry. Anyway, I'm only on the fourth episode, but it's been great so far, lol.
*sigh* Very relatable. But do not loose hope! :) There's so many amazing dramas out there, both long and short. And believe me, patience isn't my best quality, either! ππ¬ I've noticed most if not all K-dramas always have around 20ish episodes...but I have a hard time not getting bored! I find many Korean dramas to be kind of...simple I guess? Perhaps also repetitive in terms of plots. There's exceptions of course! If you want, you can go ahead and check out my watchlist if you are looking for something to watch atm! I'm very careful about ratings, and pretty much never have given any show a 10, since there's always room for improvement! Maybe there's something you haven't watched yet on there!
Haha! Yeah, you're not the first one to think that, for sure! :D There's dramas with almost 100 episodes, not to mention multiple seasons. The first two that come to mind are the Story of Yanxi Palace (70 episodes π’) and Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace (87 π¬)
Don't get me wrong though, in case you have watched Story of Yanxi Palace, it's SO worth the time it takes to get through all the episodes. The FL is so intelligent and clever that she's almost scary! π IDK about Ruyi though, I started watching it a while ago but it's just not hitting like Yanxi--might be just right up your alley though, who knows!
So, right now am i watching this drama for the first time and it's not bad but also not good.so I wanted to ask…
Def keep watching. It gets better, I promise. I can't promise that you won't feel like skipping scenes (because i did too) but all in all, this drama is definitely worth the time spent watching.
She's really cute, but her voice needs some getting used to lol β¨π It's hard for me to think of her as a mature actor--though she totally is--because her voice is just so sweet β€
You're welcome!! β€
