This is exactly like my opinion, Japan has the most amazing stories among Asian countries but they lack direction.…
Dorama don't lack direction but, they lack of budget. they thought their drama is for local consumption, rare to think it as an export (digital content) commodity as China and Korea did. Many said that dorama is just a filler on tv, the main shows are their CFs that often amazingly good! I think doramas that streamed in streaming service have better quality. those company must be providing better budget too. As an example, a director from my country got a project from a streaming service to make a fantasy horror drama. They give a lot of money, within their budget ofc, more than he was expected. Making drama cost a lot, we knew it. And he was an idealist. I think he fulfilled their expectation with his works. People said his drama was great.
I agree a bit. Also it felt so american with all these inappropriate scenes. I’m not used to that from kdramas…
Yes...there are so many K soap operas exported to my country. :D their dramas eventually kill dorama and latin telenovella domination on my TV. LOL. Nowadays, latin telenovella will have no chance to air in my country as they often include explicit content. Actually, I think recently Kdrama is being deliberate in showing PDA. Like there are so many deep kiss, french kiss scenes etc. lol. Things that hard to find in old kdramas (5-10 years ago). Yes they did kiss but it seemed that theirs was out of affection, not lust. That was how kdrama became the triumph of romcom. As for US pg13 series, the latest shows that I watched was The Stranger Things. I like it so much. But I was annoyed by it's sexual contents. Like, ST was supposed to be a child to teenager shows, why tarnished it with adult content???

The reason I and international fans love kdrama and other asian dramas is they less explicit yet they bring excitement to the viewers. They have strong and fresh storyline , and carry asian life value. Something that we wont find in western series. I used to watch countless hollywood movies and like their tv drama too. IDC if they infuse explicit content include lgbtq. That's western shows anyway. But when I see those stuffs in K n J drama, I am like 'what the hell is going on? '.

They said 'sex sells' but I still look at disdain at kdrama which insert explicit contents that don't give any importance to the plotline. That's mean they don't believe their drama is ok, powerfull enough to keep audience sitting while watching it. There are plethora of kdrama who doesnt include explicit contents. And they are still great.
Part 1 we know Naksu was being trapped by JBY in her body through alchemy of soul….she lost control of the body…
as Master Lee said, it was JBY's intention/plan to keep Naksu's soul (okay, it sounds like tacit understanding between them). That was fate that Naksu's soul encountering JBY coincidentally. As JBY gets recovery, she will most likely kick Naksu's soul out of her body.
Manami: *witnesses mass murder* Manami, hyperventilating: *grabs both boobs*Okay, Sono... 😂
Poor her, it must be unpleasant thing to do. Like, she got asthma attack yet it felt like she had an orgasm ... "am I in a horror gore flick drama or AV?"
The creature looks like the piece of rubber it looked like in 2002.
Haha... Not all xianxia cgi bad but the cheap ones, yes. The Host has decent CGI though. At that time in SK, it was pretty good! On par with Japan cgi. But what makes it great is, the storytelling. And the feeling they put into the movie. Take sample as Memories of Murder, 2000's something movie. Among all those k thriller movies with highpaid actors, actions and great cgi, Memories of Murder with tight budget movie wins audience's hearts.
