I forgot to tell you that this drama dealt with many bizarre cases that they ought to solve one by one. Good for me who somtimes get bored easily with one big case.

I like YDD as carefree optimist girl, naive that somewhat silly on certain occassions. Not as Yunshi's reincarnation.

I remember read Wu Ze Tian filled govt. posts with her kin/close comrade s. Those people were capable tho. But the point is.. The close knit with WZT. Even General Lu Linfeng in this drama got position due to his family influence. Both Prince and Princess in early eps couldnt treat him lightly.

Wuming is an extraordinary talent. I like this character. He is like a catalyst. No wonder detective Di picked him as a pupil. No need to explain. We just can't agree more with det. Di's decision. Lol

Tang dynasty is not far from nepotism. That's way those aristocrats are so full of themselves.

People detest his arrogancy yet understand his behaviour. He is a proud young man indeed. He had all the qualities as bachelor. He was raised as prideful Lu from prominent Fanyang family.
In episodes about Gantang Post station case, it was mentioned that several family names in Tang dynasty were in higher position both in society and goverment. It didn't really matter if they were poor or inferior in ranks but as long as they retained those prominent surnames, they would still regarded as honorable people above average citizen.
Btw beside being arrogant, he is also naive? Or cannot read situation deeply? That is way Su Ming always reminds him all the time.
They way he behave s reminds me about those rich and wellbred kids IRL. They're kind, pure, and straight forward - that sometimes hit the bull's eye.

It is getting better ofc... It's more like mystery horror investigation but in ancient time. No angst no fixed villain. I think the drama is not draggy. In early episodes, they even make it faster like a race lol. I like it so much that I wait every night when it is released.

Not everybody.. Just sometimes hate their own decision -that tend making things difficult rather than solving it easily. Those sisters are three different personalities. The writer make it clearer along the way.

If you couldn't pass 1st ep, try to jump to 3rd ep where the fun started.
Please lower your expectation.

It has been my long time watchlist.. I forgot to watch this one..

We rarely see leads that talk openly in the early eps. Had I not scrolled my YT page, I would not find this drama.

I like reading webtoon, they are short, to the point. We should give applause to any screen writer who change the short manuscript into drama script. It is not easy. I often see webtoon or manga adaptation are not as epic as the original.

Watched this years ago...Actually all the actors had done pretty job. But the story and cgi is a meh.
I couldn't help but thinking what was the purpose of the movie? Wasting the talents.

Glad this scandal happened years ago. If this unfortunate incident happened after China govt. scrutinized tightly the showbiz industry in recent years, he would not be survived. Look at our recent actors like Zhang Ze Han and Huang Jun Jie. And Denglun also quiet now. They are not criminal, but they had to stay low, especially for ZZH and HJJ who were on hiatus indefinitely.
