Dont get brokenheart to early lol. We still have 50 eps to watch. Asule is not yet develop as person and leader. Yu Ran sooooon will gradually fall in love with Asule's kindness. Ji Ye will be opposite to Asule. Maybe they will have different ideal and lead different way.

I really like Haru Kuroki and Mitsuki Takahata. Late bloomer, probably, compare with teenage actors. Some young actors get roles due to their cute looks despite bad acting. Some of them are gifted actors. They have good sense in acting and versatile. I.e. Mayu Matsuoka. Komatsu Nana got roles first definitely due to her looks. She got many roles already (consider it as a practice) that she can act better now. Elaiza Ikeda can explore more of her talent if she get many important roles. She is kinda stuck. Anyway, to get roles, actors mostly depend on agency. It is common prActice to push certain talent into many project if she/he is highly demanded/popular. Other talent can only pray to get project. Nounen Rena case is unfortunate story, for example.

I just want to comment that I have finished this drama a month ago. Nothing interesting except Ban Ruo and Yuwen Hu story.

Not all the story in the drama is true. They dramatize the original story heavily. I guess in reality Ban Ruo is not as savage as in the drama. I guess as noble lady, they aren't bitch enough to seduce their sister's spouse. They don't really have liberty to do that. The reason why they end up with those guys is simply due to they live in same nobility circle. As example, We wont be surprised if minister's daughter married to president's son. Dugu family lived before Tang dynasty establishment. CMIIW. Women's live and liberty is pretty improved in Empress Wu Zetian era of Tang Dynasty.

I am glad Asule confesses his love to Yu Ran boldly. So sweet haha. Now her heart is swayed xD. It is so upsetting when Tianqi emperor ask his present immediately. They ruin his first night. OMG. The worst is yet to come. I can smell the 'third wheel' is on the way. The grueling challenge for Yu Ran and Asule's love is began...

I am otw to 20th ep. I guess I will watch NEF till the end. Thank God it is now available on YT with eng sub. IDK about the ending or general plot. I don't read its novel. I put away my brain somewhere to prevent from critizing NEF in order to enjoy it fully. Initially, I shipped Yu Ran and Asule. They are destined to be together right? I knew Ji Ye had feeling for Yu Ran. But didn't expect that she felt the same for Ji Ye. Rest assured Asule, you still has a chance to pursue your love! There are still 50 eps to go LOL. I think they did a good job for casting Liu Haoran as Asule. He looks kind and fragile. He want to help others but he is aware of his weakness. So he rarely doing stupid 'saving private Ryan' without thoughts. He is so kind and very considerate that he won't showing affection towards Yu Ran in front of Ji Ye lol. Friendship is number one. I can't help but laugh seeing him sulking quietly due to Yu Ran's disapproval regarding marriage alliance. Btw, the hottest guy in Xiatang is General Xi Yan. Haha

Ah..really? Wow such a long story. They should divide Eagle Flag in several season like western series did.

Wishing there will be long episode if u love certain cdramas. Dont wanna end them lol. Kinda sad when it towards ending. Withdrawal syndrom lol.

Surely they love each other. They have many children together. Lol. And perhaps his wife doesnt allow him takes concubine. Anyway, some of case emperor taking concubine is due to political reason. Women who come to harem is either get lonely or insecure because they fight to get emperor favor.

Currently watching this. I am on 30's ep. Rare gem! Dont expect too much when started but I fall in love with this show. Xu Kai is sooo blew me up! Haha Bai Lu is so badass too. And Shane, is great! What I really like from this show is..the plot. Not a typical wuxia with ML and FL saving each other repeatedly. It has unveiled mystery that makes you wanna watch till the end. The ML in this drama is not possessive like hell like any other in wuxia drama. Sure he love FL too much but he doesnt talk it much. He show affection with action. Like seize heaven sword risking his life just because the ML wanted it eagerly. Or in another day, he cant bear to get angry with her out of jealousy. Instead he confront the male who has affair with her. The only downside of this drama, it has dragged plot in the middle eps. But dont worry, just skip those parts. Lol

Only the part of "prophecy of Dugu" in the drama is made up haha. Since the Dugu sisters came from noble household, it's no strange if they encounterd another noble suitors like some princes. Thus they make a history of their own.

Surely i dont watch plenty eps of ashes of love in one hour. I watched those eps when I was binge watching wuxia drama last year. I also dropped of legend of yunxi after watched it until 20-30eps. I often stop watching cdrama halfway because i get bored. The only cdrama i watch without skipping scenes or ep is TMoPB..and maybe Princess Silver. I dont really pay attention to feature on MDL . I dont exavtly watch what i am planning on my watchlist. I could left it and forget it. I often check the movie n drama that i have watcehd on MDL page and mark them as completed.

RL has more lines than WY. He looks like less important chara lol. In ashes of love both ML and FL have balance lines? (Actually, three of them: Xufeng, Jinmi and Runyu). IDk why I dropped ashes of love halfway through.

I have watched till ep 40. Idk PS is women centric wuxia. As the ep keep going, RL is more dominant than WY now. Seeing them together like watching and old couple haha. Meanwhile,
RL exhusband, FC is in agony for missing her exwife haha . He can crawl
To the cliff bare foot barehands just to pick rare medicinal herbs for RL. In this point,
Idk if the writer is being too much for showing FC his loyalty n sacrife. Even Yunxi (from legend of yunxi) use a tool to climb a cliff when picking rare herbs . . PS: I never get bored to see WY :p

That is infinity circle plot in wuxia. Ml save FL vice versa. I used to drop Xuan yuan Swords (cast: Guan Xiaotong) I cant stand to s see how many times ML n FL saving each other in every critical near-death events. Like there is no story except watching ML n fL saving each other. Glad Princess Silver doesnt have too many 'saving private ryan' plot. Compare it to General and I, OMG that general and i is a crap.

I am sorry to hear that. My friends who encountered such toxic relationship alread settle and happy but not with their previous toxic bf. I am surprised that their bf back of naturally because they had affair. And my friends had such legit reason to lbreak off. Their ex bf of course are so far far away from Fu Chou grace type. Unworthy of my friends devotion.

Cant believe it based on real events. I have read the summary of its history. Complicated and tragic but interesting. Royal stories often fascinating yet sad.
