The thread title a bit unmatch with the content..perhaps you should call them young..rather than rookie. Because some of them arent rookie anymore despite young age. They probably reach popularism after several works. Anyway I don't find them so great in acting. Most of them look like product of acting class. Mayu Matsuoka is great though. Nana Komatsu get used to acting because of range of experience. Btw you missed Mitsuki Takahata. She is promising great actress, the next Juri Ueno.
Right? Like even the set is the same but still have hopes that this would be a fun watch.
You can say Boran equal to Taiga or Sageuk. They have similar setting: ancient. The line between ancient and period drama is sometimes subtle. Boran Sageuk Taiga is settled in ancient time, followed with culture that represent its era. Boran and Sageuk can tell fiction people and fiction event, but also can tell real historical events and people. In the otherhand, Taiga drama always stick to the real historical events and people. It is very rare to find Taiga that tells fiction people n events. Taiga though is more like dramatization of Japanese history. And it is famous for manipulating history #upssnooffen e. You know, watching drama is more enjoyable than reading historical book. NHK Japan is famous with its well crafted taiga. Korean sageuk also has improved with the industry standard of kdrama. Japanese has outdoor studio that represent ancient or old era. Korea Japan n Thai still have many ancient spots. But I think China is still the best for having spectacular outdoor studio n spots that represent old and ancient era. But I dont really like ancient china drama (Wuxia?) Most of them often distort the history. Or rather having hiperbolic stories. No wonder their country has strict rules to air Wuxia drama. Once more, they tend to have many long episodes with short airtime (more than 40 ep, can reach up to 60 eps for less than 6months). Duration 45 - 60 minutes. But nowadays, many light china dramas with ancient setting aired in web or video site. They vary in episode amount but their duration is often short. 25-35 minutes per eps. NHK Taiga also have many long episodes. One title for one year! But it is not pain in ass to watch 1 ep per week. Duration 45-60 minutes. Other Japan tv channel probably aired another taiga once a week but with short lifespan. SP aka special usually 1-2 ep. Regular drama 8-12 ep. Duration 25 -45 minutes. Korean dramausually range from 16 -24 equal to 32-48 short eps. Sageuk with real historical events can reach regular 30-50eps. Duration 1 hour. Back to Boran. Its episodes no differ than other regular lakorn. Duration 45 m- 1,5 hours.

Tbh..I have seen several boran. I notice the production team seems using the same setting (place, houses, props). They only change the placement of props and using different angles to shoot to make it abit different with other boran lakorn. Perhaps they already have certain outdoor n indoor studio for shooting Boran. The same practice goes to Korean Sageuk and Japan Taiga.
Did I read it right. Isara falls for his cousin, as in bloodrelative ?? Or is this another mistranslation?
Having relationship with or even marrying a cousin is legit. Even if you were blood relative. Marrying a niece or stepsister eventhough they are not blood relative -but is related under civil law/ legal marriage clause- is unacceptable by any norm. Logically niece is more like your descendant whereas stepsister is like sibling.
RECOMMENDED LIGHT ROMCOM KDRAMA! you can't help but smile everytime you see the couple. Their chemistry is sooo good and cute. Like a real couple. I wish they become a real couple.
She discovers that she wasn't actually dying of cancer but only had a minor sickness (i think it was anemia) and…
In real life you'll be scared of shit haha. Moving away, erase the trace would be the best choice. Stalker to the point he can manipulate your life unbearable. It is same with possessive spouse. I dont mind watch possessive ML or stalker ML but in real life is a big no.
