He is good actor. Yeah WY chara is somewhat annoying hero. I dont know if the hero is like that initially in the novel.

@alilanguyen from your comment it is clear that the empress qi is the main conductor of all the mess? The empress herself is the biological mother of the General? And he doesn't really know that he is just a doll played by his mother for revenge. I havent finished watching the drama btw. Like u said, RL doesnt bother to hear FC explanation about things. And FC often thinks there is no use to explain since RL doesnt wanna listen. So many misunderstanding lead to chaos.

So far this is interesting and great wuxia xinxia c drama in 2019. It is complicated but not really. Everything flow slowly and naturally. None of characters I hate. Deception, mishap, and misunderstanding plot reminds me about TMOPB. What I dont like about this drama are the stubborness of Princess of Western Qi aka Man yao, and too many heartbreak/unrequited love. Blame the screenwriter! I pity Fu Chou but I still want to see Prince Li an Man yao reunite.
Sometimes I think the story is quite immoral. In reality and according chinese custom who appreciate manner and marriage in high regard, I think what Princess Qi and Prince Li doing is outrageous. Fu Chou is indeed insecure and over jealous but Princess Qi never watch her action and never considered her husband feelings. Also both of them never really talk openly. Only rhetoric dialogues. Okay the most pitiable chara in this drama is of course Emperor Qi.

Yeah I got it. Been watching Legend of fuyao, it has 66eps long. I considered fuyao as a high production drama. Everything on it is no joke. They need to get investation back. What iam trying to say is... prolong the episode can be a downside for a plot. It can be a crap story. Not every drama can keep the consistency and logic till the end.

This movie reminds me that afterlife is tougher than living world. Only people with religion will understand.

I want to say..Kim Hyang Gi is so so so cute and pretty! young version of Han Hyo Joo. This movie is a very good remake of its webtoon. I cried alot while watching this movie. Now my eyes get swollen. I used to watch chinese movie with CGI. AWTG has pretty good CGI compare to C-Movie which has the same quality (fyi many c movies also have horrible quality cgi. And look so cheap). Fyi -again- many c movies which have good CGI, made by korean studio/animator or by american studio/animator. I stress again, this AWTG cgi is as good as c movie cgi. So good but has not reach the realistic look like japan movie or hollywood. BUT, compare it to other korean,movies, AWTG is such a grand movie. Thank God the script is great, well written, their acting,also great so it doesn't waste the effort of making great cgi :).

I think it is not racist for being not able differentiate kdramas actors. I also take some time to differentiate SUJU, SNSD or even Twice member! It just they dont really pay attention.

Even after years watching kdramas, I still have problem to differentiate the actor's face -especially actresses. They seem like massive doll products from same factory. But usually popular actress has distinct face. The same problem goes to western and Cdrama actors. But recently Cdrama often pick actors who have distinct face. You can tell who is who. I never have problem differentiate Japanese actors -clap please! untill now, their actors like diversity,in the world. Their make up is super good and natural. Not as sickly as cdramas And tellywood makeup.

Whoa, you're a hardcore dramalover lol. Angola? Israel series? I used to love Telenovela ( soap opera from any latin country) because it used to air in my country. But now I cant stand to watch it because they usually have very long eps (hundreds) like Telly (Indian soap opera) and Turkish. I prefer short eps drama like dorama, kdrama n thai drama. Recent thai dramas have shorter eps than,in the past. Actually I cant stand watch long eps of cdramas. I usually fast forward the show. I don't really watch ongoing drama.

My mother says don't watch too much cdramas! whereas I was watching dorama n kdrama lol. In the past, some huge popular cdramas aired and dubbed in my country. So everybody still thinks asian drama is cdrama. Right now I am really into cdramas n Thai dramas. I'm feeling lonely n stressed, so I better get something fun to watch. Watching pretty and handsome actors is really nice -though I can't stand bad acting and unlogic plot.

The initial purpose I watch kdrama or jdrama is I want to learn english while watching something fun. I spent hours for years watching dorama n kdrama and western movies in english subtitles. At first it was hard since I have poor English. I often pause the show (I watched them on my PC) and open English dictionary to figure out the meaning of the words. Without realizing it my written english has improved - a bit. Somehow I can tell whether the translation (english to my mother tongue) in drama subtitle is grammatically wrong or not. Or whether the subtitle match the dialogue or not.

Yass, what the heck the writer was thinking. I think it was unnecessary assisination. Why Japanese kill her entire family thus pursue her just for mere medicine? The medicine probably important thing. But I think Japanese intelligent usually think,carefully and done efficiently. Logicallythey will,only murder who was in charge of the,medicine. Pursuing her will be waste of time. Let's say everybody knows Japanese is the culprit of assasination. But without evidence they cannot take Japanese down. Even there are evidence, still they cannot touch Japanese in occupation era.

She is so talented actress. Her performance,in Battle of Changsa reminds me about Horikita Maki. she is as cute as Maki and her acting ability is similar.

I actually have no interest in China Period Drama as the theme always about war. I watch it because of Wallace Huo haha. And He is awesome to death! As I watch this drama, it becomes more interesting. Superb. China is better on making period drama like this. I am on ep 22 now and excited to finish it off. Naturally I wanna peek into the ending haha. but I hold it on. I may ruin the mood to watch entire eps. I had watched Siege in Fog but dropped it on a couple eps before ending. It a lil bit upsetting that the ending is differ from,the novel.
Thank God Battle of Changsa only 32 ep. I can't bear to watch drama with 40,50,60's eps.
This drama is surely heartbreaking but it is funny too- there are so many hilarious moments that I can't help but laugh. You will now if you watch it.
