Am I the only one who thinks that gmmtv is specialized in making drama for teenager and young adult? Like coming of age genre. Young love, school, college problem, parent-children problem, etc. To make drama more realistic they only hire younger talent. Such very dramatic, tear jerker, and emotional drama for adult were already available in other channels like ch3,ch7,ch1 etc. Gmmtv or linetv wont eat their 'cake' genre. Instead they make their own cake. They make lakorn freshser than ever. Anyway, entertainment bussiness in Thai is kinda 'woken up' by the korean drama wave. As the rising drama n film industry in china, Thai also want to catch up with their content industry. At least for me, so far Thai drama industry is the best in south east asia.

Why why why. Didnt cdrama still have web tv or video platform? Many drama aired in video streaming service. But then probably big money comes from television. It is strange drama on post production wont get aired. There was no scandal though of the casts. I wish it will get aired sooon.

Guys I am otw to 10th ep. You who like BL probably will like this, right? I can still enjoy this drama because the interesting plot and duo Wei Ying - Lan Zhan. Focusing on friendship and adventure.

Is it triggered by previous tax evasion scandal by Fan bingbing? I guess there are some major changes in China's entertainment industry. If the case related with money, then it is possible.

It is like getting bachelor degree while waiting this drama gets air date. I come to this thread once a year....

It was neither kind of high production drama, nor a cheap one. So to make it good, the plot must be great and the acting should be excellent to save the day. It is no seldom to see kind of rubbish or half assed cdrama.

I am going to watch the 4th ep. :) I regret to check this one. Now I am tamed by Wuxian and Wangji! Their chemistry reminds me with The Legends. Only the legend has FL and ML. In Untamed we got two MLs. Anyway, it would be great if they changed
Wuxian into FL and Wangji as ML or vice versa.

Hm. I am aware that this is about Asule n eagle flag. Maybe 80% politic: 20% romance. It's okay as long as I can see Liu Haoran. But still OMG

Yeah..it is suck knowing his bride worrying other alphamale on their first marriage night. That's hurt. And the man she is worrying about is his close friend. He cannot express his jealousy. Keep watching friend, the turmoil in their marriage life is about to begin.

Dont get brokenheart to early lol. We still have 50 eps to watch. Asule is not yet develop as person and leader. Yu Ran sooooon will gradually fall in love with Asule's kindness. Ji Ye will be opposite to Asule. Maybe they will have different ideal and lead different way.

I really like Haru Kuroki and Mitsuki Takahata. Late bloomer, probably, compare with teenage actors. Some young actors get roles due to their cute looks despite bad acting. Some of them are gifted actors. They have good sense in acting and versatile. I.e. Mayu Matsuoka. Komatsu Nana got roles first definitely due to her looks. She got many roles already (consider it as a practice) that she can act better now. Elaiza Ikeda can explore more of her talent if she get many important roles. She is kinda stuck. Anyway, to get roles, actors mostly depend on agency. It is common prActice to push certain talent into many project if she/he is highly demanded/popular. Other talent can only pray to get project. Nounen Rena case is unfortunate story, for example.

I just want to comment that I have finished this drama a month ago. Nothing interesting except Ban Ruo and Yuwen Hu story.

Not all the story in the drama is true. They dramatize the original story heavily. I guess in reality Ban Ruo is not as savage as in the drama. I guess as noble lady, they aren't bitch enough to seduce their sister's spouse. They don't really have liberty to do that. The reason why they end up with those guys is simply due to they live in same nobility circle. As example, We wont be surprised if minister's daughter married to president's son. Dugu family lived before Tang dynasty establishment. CMIIW. Women's live and liberty is pretty improved in Empress Wu Zetian era of Tang Dynasty.

I am glad Asule confesses his love to Yu Ran boldly. So sweet haha. Now her heart is swayed xD. It is so upsetting when Tianqi emperor ask his present immediately. They ruin his first night. OMG. The worst is yet to come. I can smell the 'third wheel' is on the way. The grueling challenge for Yu Ran and Asule's love is began...

I am otw to 20th ep. I guess I will watch NEF till the end. Thank God it is now available on YT with eng sub. IDK about the ending or general plot. I don't read its novel. I put away my brain somewhere to prevent from critizing NEF in order to enjoy it fully. Initially, I shipped Yu Ran and Asule. They are destined to be together right? I knew Ji Ye had feeling for Yu Ran. But didn't expect that she felt the same for Ji Ye. Rest assured Asule, you still has a chance to pursue your love! There are still 50 eps to go LOL. I think they did a good job for casting Liu Haoran as Asule. He looks kind and fragile. He want to help others but he is aware of his weakness. So he rarely doing stupid 'saving private Ryan' without thoughts. He is so kind and very considerate that he won't showing affection towards Yu Ran in front of Ji Ye lol. Friendship is number one. I can't help but laugh seeing him sulking quietly due to Yu Ran's disapproval regarding marriage alliance. Btw, the hottest guy in Xiatang is General Xi Yan. Haha
