I wonder if it is related with previous tax embezzlement in China showbiz. Many production houses are under scrutiny regarding finance. They dig again the accountability of the previous (completed) projects. Many planned or future project are halted. The goverment already launched new policies regarding tax , production cost, etc. Dunno why they banned period/ancient drama though. But I think it has to do with its viewers..its people of china. The goverment feared of t he citizens.

Btw Xiao zhan is the rising stars now. I noticed the certain YT channel push again his old drama of 2016. Kind of not so popular drama. But perhaps some people will check on Xiao zhan works.

It is melodramatic lakorn. Glad there is no annoying villain character. Cassanova, infidelity theme is nothing new in lakorn. I watch this due to gorgeous Diana Flipo. She is the perfect image for dr Dee character. How can she make a peace with her bff who stole her bf is awesome. Gift though, is getting karma for stealing her bff's lover. (That is why..never ever steals your friend's lover!)
I am on 9 ep and I think dr. Dee is not completely get over of her ex? She is being considerate to her bff Gift. Though she swears to not look back at Jo and get used with Tor. Inventing new romance. That is why the romance of Dee and Tor is kinda slow.
Btw the more I watch this lakorn..the more I get confused. I mean, it should be about Tor and Dee right? But everything seems about Jo and Toom also a scene stealer. Dr Dee then is like nowhere to be found.
Why the hell they cast Bua? She should be a female lead. She is great and now she steals the show. Jo should be a male lead instead of second (villain) lead. He gets too much onscreen. I can't get over of Masu's cuteness of his previous lakorns..so I can't imagine that he is the villain in this lakorn.

That was a mystery though. In real life I have known several couples who spent more than 5 years in relationship yet they married to very different person. Another couple of more than 10years got married but shortly after that they got divorce. I am asian and so far I see many people don't take dating seriously eventhough they consider married in thought. Sometimes it is not important with whom you were in relationship, your future husband/wife probably is not the one who you date with . Heartbreaks are inevitable. But as soon as they married, they gradually forget the Exes and focus to their new family.
