Yeah..I also wonder how chinese BL drama can surpassed the censor LOL. I bet the company don't sell or air them in mainland but only for international release. Chinese govt. also banned feminine male talent on screen (it means only manly male talent could appear). But I also cannot imagine Wu Ze Tian playing with her step son...OMG...hahaha. she was one of respected empresses in China. Some historians perhaps wrote her as tyrant because they denied the fact her ability to lead a nation surpassed any male in her era. Btw several years ago Chinese Govt. censor many historical dramas and reprimanded company who makes historical dramas to not divert historical fact too far. You know, to get more viewer, producer will make the drama more dramatic and spicier even if it's not true. The govt. also restrict the amount of historical drama episodes each year. Hence...many chinese costume drama (xinxia wuxia etc) should wait in long line to get aired. Some of them end up in streaming sites, and the rest of them will never get to surface (especially with korean actors on it).
sorry...no....I finished it with fast pacing the video. I cant fully blame the actors. the plot is bad. Surely the drama want to portray the FL as strong, wise and quick witted heroin but the plot is contradictive. The FL is quite stupid for falling in the same hole again and again that she need to saved by the ML. Also the fact that Angela can fully finish the shooting due to pregnancy making the quality of drama dropped.
I love this drama even though the plot often underestimate my brain. I shipped the couple...JSW and LMJ. too bad we cant see them in real life..hahahhahaa
Actually after watching several initial episodes, I think it's an interesting drama. Many said it was a good drama. But I cant bear to watch it further because.....I dont wanna cry

yeah, it was the very very few C melodrama with political background that I really watched till the ending. the original creator of the story (novelist) made it as dramatic as possible with tragic ending. I think what made me stick to this drama is the believable plot.
