I am on ep 39. So far I dont see any hope for Asule + Yuran romance. Impossible to become real. Some people perhaps expect Princess Xiao Zhou ended with Asule. For those who said the drama was dragged. I don't think so. It was not dragged but rather distorted? I wanna laugh when Asule got amnesiac. Should they put amnesiac plot to it?
PRODUCT PLACEMENTS!!! grhh I mean I know they are required to put them in there, but it feels like the editor…
Hmm. They seem cant bring or produce properties without label--or just hiding the label. Whereas Hollywood going extend making fiction products lol. Okay it is not apple to apple. Compare to jdrama They hardly blurring product who are not sponsors. And they likely not placing or wearing brands that doesnt sponsor them. I am also amazed with how they place sponsored products because it always in subtle manner. You just wont realize it till you see the credit title. Okay..compare kdrama with cdrama. Cdrama also wont place and wear unsponsored brands. Even the actors and actress wearing their branded stuffs, they wont make it obvious. This aint promo afterall. But they place sponsored products obviously like kdrama. Then -it is not related but worth to mention- thai lakorn often blurring drugs, alcohol drinks, guns, knives, or every stuff ever used by villains to scare or kill the victims. Lakorn wont use unsponsored stuff but will show sponsored stuff in audacity.
Hi, thanks for Part 3 lmao. People ought to write a book about this! Why certain elements repeat themselves in…
First, Shower scene of ML seems a must thing now. It just not really important. But I worry the actors mental health. they must be feel like being exploited sexually like actress who force to do bed scene or wear revealing costume. Not many men feel comfortable going topless. Second, yes...many ML tend to have childhood trauma or mental ilness. Like what?? Haha can they just be normal guy? And everything linked with past childhood of both FL and ML.
How about these:- If there's a child featured, it's almost always a girl in Korea and Japan, but a boy in China…
Exhausting running scene of a man often seen in Jdrama. I thought "gosh, they really love to run?". In japan, people hardly taking taxi due to expensive fare. And bus will likely run on its own since public transportation so punctual. They can only walk, run or catch JRL. And kdrama follows their pattern.
Let me add something. 1. FL who is in poor household and difficult live still manage to dress well. Wearing branded or high quality attire. Definitely not bought from Dongdaemun. 2. Don't forget the latest smartphone. Poor FL/ML having good smartphone. I know in Korea is easy to buy smartphone and data plan in installment. But people with no steady job will find it little difficult to pay latest model on smartphone. 3. Poor FL often raised by single parent or has no parents at all. So us audiences should have mercy on her. 4. The stocks of ML's corporation in stock market will likely drop due to personal affair of the heir or family. To save the company, arranged marriage will be held. In reality, people in stock market doesnt really care at all about the owner or family matters. There are so many factor that intervent the stock market. 5. The appearance of5 2nd FL as ex gf or crush of the ML. He often goes to his crush nonchalantly. He said he doesnt care but still bother to see her? And the 2nd FL also tries to win his back. Thus our FL is agonized. 6. Prodigy doctor or surgeon. Kdrama often portrays skilled young doctor with nearly in god level. I dont against the concept of 'genius doctor'. But skills often comes through hardship, endurance and persistent practice through further learning and training. Also, practice takes time. So I am annoyed with appearance of young skilled doctors without showing us how they can be so skilled.
Of course..it is better to hear their real voices. Sometimes we can judge their acting through verbal expression. I've read somewhere that sometimes, the character in cdrama become powerful n remarkable due to dubber/voice actor. Even Several famous actors picked up certain dubber to fill in their voice. But some people had critized actors for solely relying to dubber to live up the character.
They dubbed drama and film to promote national language, simplified mandarin. China has many regions with different dialects or simply written mandarin that distort from the standard. In cmovie and drama, beside doing dubbing, they always put written dialogue (in simplified mandarin) on the screen. Dubber is responsible to live up the character also giving right example how to talk in china national standard mandarin. I've read somewhere that perhaps the actors should lear n standard dialect so they dont need dubber. Because it seems unprofessional. Actor should be able to mimic and act, right? In japan, i.e they have two major dialects (kansai and..sorry i forgot) and language culture. But when they appear on drama /movie, they use standard japanese as on NHK. Japan actor should be able to master many dialect if needed. Few years ago I got to know that people in Osaka said 'okini' in distinct way instead of 'arigato'. As for Korea drMa, eventhough korea has dialects too, they dont need dubber. Written n oral korea is understable by most citizens. Hangul is simplier than china's hanja (thousands of them!). That's way china goverment constructs a simplier mandarin written and orally, which became national standard. They promote it through big and litte screen so that people in rural china get to know and learn about it.
Despite croton is kinda big dramamaker but it is quite stingy to pay for even an english translator? Yeah, maybe…
I don't really know NiNi aside from being ex gf of Jing Boran? Idk Cheng Cheng. I reckon Nini as festival actress like Tang Wei or Zhang Ziyi. They only pick movie projects rather than serial drama. Mostly film festival actresses only covet distinct roles. Be as exclusive as possible is better. And she is definitely one of high paid artists. Regarding Croton, this PH often hire high profile (with high fees) actors. I have read somewhere that in China most of production budget went to main lead actors. More than 70% of total budget. Can u imagine that? That resulted in rising price of broadcast rights. Failed to air drama means lost fortune. About netflix. This streaming sites has difficulty on paying royalty. I ensure you that netflix is still safe and sound. But, I mean, since CDrama tend to have loads episode, they must be more expensive than paying Kdrama which has average of 16 ep, right? And Nini n Cheng Cheng aren't that popular abroad.
Just finished 72 episodes ... A few quick points to share - 1) For 72 episodes, it's really a waste of time, too…
Wow I cant believe watched them till the end. It must be pain the ass. Lol. When drama gets boring I just have to skip many parts, watch watch in haste. Or jump to several last episodes.
This type of poster and the plot wouldn't accepted in my country. This is considered racist since we have many races with various skin tone and appearance. So we have many different standard for beauty too. Thai mostly filled with siamese people, malay and chinese descendants. They have things in common. And we all know how their beauty standard. Fair skin like chinese, long straight hair, cute face and slender body like barbie. Btw I am flabbergasted when I watched a clip of Thai reality show. Some actors said Great Warinton is dark. Like what?! But I respect that culture of Thai as I am okay with slap kiss plot in lakorn. But if this slap and kiss plot is happened in my country soap opera, I wouldn't mind to protest and ask government to ban it.
I don’t understand why such a highly anticipated show would be so painfully slow with subtitles. I really don’t…
Despite croton is kinda big dramamaker but it is quite stingy to pay for even an english translator? Yeah, maybe croton already got enough money from local based fans, video streaming service and television. Therefore they doesnt care about foreign viewer. Unlike certain chinese dramamaker that quicky put engsub (or even various language) on their drama in YT platform. Sure, they aim international fans and income from YT advertisements. Nowadays, cdramas is out like a heavy rain. We cannot solely depend on fansubber. The amount of fansubber can't beat the amount of cdrama episodes.
