Currently watching this. I am on 30's ep. Rare gem! Dont expect too much when started but I fall in love with this show. Xu Kai is sooo blew me up! Haha Bai Lu is so badass too. And Shane, is great! What I really like from this show is..the plot. Not a typical wuxia with ML and FL saving each other repeatedly. It has unveiled mystery that makes you wanna watch till the end. The ML in this drama is not possessive like hell like any other in wuxia drama. Sure he love FL too much but he doesnt talk it much. He show affection with action. Like seize heaven sword risking his life just because the ML wanted it eagerly. Or in another day, he cant bear to get angry with her out of jealousy. Instead he confront the male who has affair with her. The only downside of this drama, it has dragged plot in the middle eps. But dont worry, just skip those parts. Lol

Only the part of "prophecy of Dugu" in the drama is made up haha. Since the Dugu sisters came from noble household, it's no strange if they encounterd another noble suitors like some princes. Thus they make a history of their own.

Surely i dont watch plenty eps of ashes of love in one hour. I watched those eps when I was binge watching wuxia drama last year. I also dropped of legend of yunxi after watched it until 20-30eps. I often stop watching cdrama halfway because i get bored. The only cdrama i watch without skipping scenes or ep is TMoPB..and maybe Princess Silver. I dont really pay attention to feature on MDL . I dont exavtly watch what i am planning on my watchlist. I could left it and forget it. I often check the movie n drama that i have watcehd on MDL page and mark them as completed.

RL has more lines than WY. He looks like less important chara lol. In ashes of love both ML and FL have balance lines? (Actually, three of them: Xufeng, Jinmi and Runyu). IDk why I dropped ashes of love halfway through.

Meanwhile, RL exhusband, FC is in agony for missing her exwife haha . He can crawl To the cliff bare foot barehands just to pick rare medicinal herbs for RL. In this point, Idk if the writer is being too much for showing FC his loyalty n sacrife. Even Yunxi (from legend of yunxi) use a tool to climb a cliff when picking rare herbs . . PS: I never get bored to see WY :p

That is infinity circle plot in wuxia. Ml save FL vice versa. I used to drop Xuan yuan Swords (cast: Guan Xiaotong) I cant stand to s see how many times ML n FL saving each other in every critical near-death events. Like there is no story except watching ML n fL saving each other. Glad Princess Silver doesnt have too many 'saving private ryan' plot. Compare it to General and I, OMG that general and i is a crap.

I am sorry to hear that. My friends who encountered such toxic relationship alread settle and happy but not with their previous toxic bf. I am surprised that their bf back of naturally because they had affair. And my friends had such legit reason to lbreak off. Their ex bf of course are so far far away from Fu Chou grace type. You ignore the fact that RL is the wife of a general. As a High official FC sure is living in lavishhousehold. WY always regard RL as Man Yao, not a princess. Guys who pamper her a lot are Rong Qi and Fu Chou. But WY also give everything to Man Yao. She just have to ask. Anyway, like a house, FC is a full furnished house. No need to fill. Everything is on set and ready. Whereas WY is an empty house ready to fill and decor.

In my early career as dramalovers I used to ship this and that couple. Thats pretty normal. But as I am growing, I no longer have hard feelings. They just actors doing their job. They have their personal life. I often get annoyed with knetz who monopolize their idols and celebs. #ignore. Up until now I am still shipping Makino and Doumyoji Aka Inoue Mao and Matsumoto Jun of HanaYori Dango. There is no conclusion yet about them. I wish they make it to the altar soon.
