Title Siege in Fog
Really do not understand the negative comments on this, it's one of my all time favourites! I usually don't have…
yeah, it was the very very few C melodrama with political background that I really watched till the ending. the original creator of the story (novelist) made it as dramatic as possible with tragic ending. I think what made me stick to this drama is the believable plot.

I can't download it in VEOH...glad I found it in torrent. IDK I always find Japan mystical horror movie enchanting. It gives different vibe than China's and Korea's.

Title Truth or Dare Spoiler
What ya mean?
You don't hear any rumor about him at all? He caught in dating scandal.
Junjie denied the allegations though. I think Junjie and his management choose to keep in low now. Further comment only invite more drama and the rumor will become bigger.
Some sources said he was dating an older woman (not necessarily old like an aunty) to gain access in showbiz. Like dating/friends with benefit. TBH I don't really believe it though. and even if it's true, I don't really care. It's not a crime to date older woman. But people there perhaps will perceive it as morally unacceptable. In addition, Chinese govt. won't let people with bad issue appear on screen. because they would give bad example for citizen. the worst case, the actors will receive 'cancel culture'. The govt. erase their digital and printed history all over the country. you won't find their name on anything, they wont get crediting in any works (film n drama) despite their face and body wholly appeared.
I will give examples: as far I remember in Legend of Fuyao (CMIIW), an actress got her face edited with CGI. Just before the drama get aired, that actress caught in a scandal. No time and cost to retake since they already in postproduction. Before her scandal, FanBingBing several years ago make a drama, but I guess it will never get aired?? One of the main male actor of the drama also caught in a (drunk and harassment) scandal. cmiiw. it will be easier if he was supporting actor, but he has important role in that drama.

in Junjie case, I feel bad for him. I wish to see him soon!

Thanks for the spoiler ! I hate bad endings so I’ll pass this one !
I don't say it has bad ending though lol. I just forget how it end because it was so damn long long ago. I have a hunch that the FL choose to remain in modern day, with her current family and people.

a rare gem! I will watch it till the end. fyi I hardly watch C dramas up until the ending. 24 eps is long enough to finish. difficult to watch drama which has more than 24 eps. exception made for super interesting C drama only.

for God's sake, he should pay for damage 750million yen? that's a lot of contract deal! that is really unfortunate for him to step back from showbiz. traffic accident does happen everyday. that is pretty normal. but if the doers are celebs it will be more highlighted. and he should not act like a loser in the first place, so it became a hit and run case. I knew some celebs was encountered in traffic accidents but they bravely didn't run from the scene and instead help the victims. so the case didnt really affect their career. act like normal people

I am just curious why actor like JIS and HHJ are extremely rarely to take a project? Look at SHK, for example, she did 2-3years cycle. As for HHJ, she got the best chance to take a project after a huge success with 'W: Two Worlds'. I don't really expect CTH in a drama since he usually take movie project.

Changing director or even a writer in the middle of production of a drama in kdramaland is common. But I considered it is too much if the writer get changed in middle of filming! Ok, back to topic. It is obvious...her ideal doesn't match the ideal of 'the elders'. Especially, when the newbie is a woman. No matter how hard she works and her ethics, the men will still look her in disdain (Misaeng thaught me). Another case in showbiz, no matter how hard the actress works, no matter how equal is the effort compare wth the male actor's, she will still get paid lower than the male counterpart.

It is fairly obvious that Netflix is the one that have the final say, because all the actors and director want…
actually for netflix drama std. the CGI was not that great but has decent amount...comparing with Stranger Things or Parasite (live action which has same concept). But it is considered great in kdrama std. Like you, I dont really care bout cgi though, I prefer good plot to cgi. I think the producers were initially make a cliffhanger drama. test the water. Perhaps they have season 2 in mind but if SH doesnt really have good performance, they'll leave it as it is. I have read somewhere that when netflix made Stranger Things, they didnt consider to make a sequel. they didnt expect that ST eventually became a hit. so they made a plan to produce season 2, and season 3 if it still got many fans.

Title Sweet Home
not really, it only has much blood since it engaged with monsters and killings
I must add something: I think we can still watch Sweet Home with younger audiences , age 13+. Whereas, I don't recommend to watch Alice (Japanese dorama in netflix which has similar theme and released at the same time with Sweet Home) with audience under age 18.
