I didn't know about latest suicide case in Japan showbiz scene after Ashina Sei. Turn out it's Yuko Takeuchi. I'm shocked. She was one of popular actress that I know. Can't believe Post Partum syndrome can lead to death. Poor baby boy. RIP Mrs. Takeuchi Yuko.
Similar case not only happened in SK but everywhere in showbiz. Some of people may see those disgusting practices as customary. And it is still under the radar. As for the victims, they hardly tell the world because fear of victim blaming and don't want to ruin their career. I've heard in my town that there was a case where a lady committed suicide. She jumped from the higher building apt. The stakeholder ruled the case as suicide, that the lady had been depressed for sometime. I read underground comment about it from the deceased's close friend that she got depression since worked in entertainment industry as aspirant actor. She had been used by certain people for years - including as a sex slave. She couldn't tell her family about it since it was such a heavy embarrassment. Even after such sacrifices, she didn't get the fame. Instead, she fell into drugs and depression. RIP for her.

Most of c dramas are preproduced that makes it quite hard to revise the line of casts. Unlike K drama and Dorama that are made using mixed preproduced and live shoot system. We saw in K dramaland recently TV channel immediately cut controversial drama or change the problematic cast in ongoing drama.

this is a top notch drama I guess? it has well written script, logic, intelligent, great acting, detail setting. as expected from dorama. the romance is barely there because it is not romance drama, it is a business drama but not a flashy one. what I like about this drama is the knowledge and the people. life is not black and white but grey instead.
