what was that epilogue lololol are they pulling the marvel card now. the little girl is so cute though.now that…
I forgot the 'cameo thing'. In Familiar Stranger the director put the casts of The Killer is Also Romantic. They made a cute appearance. I think he put 'cameo' thing again in Butterfly Lovers. Ah, I have vague memory of it.
Amazing how everyone survives arrows, heart stabs and poison and can get up and walk asap…
You probably haven't watched xianxia where ML spitted a bucket of blood yet recovered quickly. Or you haven't seen ML and FL jumped from the cliff yet they remain unscathed (it's not I wish them to die on the spot though). 🤣🤣🤣
does anybody remember from any other dramas the concept of demons/people/immortals being trapped in a painting?…
There are many dramas and movies that use the concept. I cannot remember all of them. I will mention what I have recalled only. 1) In Love of Thousand Years (2020), ML (the heartbroken immortal) painted the scenes of FL inciting the rebellion bravely. More like ML immortalized FL in a painting since in her first life she was defeated and dead a long time ago. At some point, ML jumped to the painting and turned back time. That's how the story flowed. After the all trials they got some sort of HE. But it turned out that ML trapped in the painting of his own accord. His pal even said that he was helpless beyond saving for falling in love with the mortal. 2) Fox in the screen (2016) 3) LBFAD, where a close friend of SML build a magical place in the screen/painting. 4) My fairy doctor 5) fairy from the painting - a boring show. 6) Alienoid - Ryu Jun-yeol has a fan containing 2 demon cats.
Hi guys, I saw a video on YouTube that claims Li Yunrui agency takes away 80 percent of his earnings in dramas.…
China's agency is no better than J n K. The case of Li Yunrui is only the tip of iceberg. Anyway, you should hear that Leo Yunxi used to take home only 10-20% from his earning for more than 5 years. or perhaps more than 10 years. That's really really not fair because he is the one who actually works hard and receives harsh treatment on set. That is why some established actors went to build their own studio. Because the distribution of fee is not quite fair.
Gosh, I wonder how much money they pour into making this web-movie. The CGI is neatly made. In my country, the quality of CGI like this exceeds an expectation for a theatrical movie. Not long ago, I heard a local beverage company made a jaw-drop Ad. with stunning CGI. They spent hundreds of thousands dollars.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣in modern time, he better wears a mask when going out
🤣yeah, at least for several months he must hide well. It is not easy to play a villain role. Several actors in my country must encounter unpleasant situations offscreen. People spit on them, throwing things or pinch them because they are so hateful on the screen while playing villains.
I love the ending but a couple scenes stood out to me.1. When Song Mu fought with the two blades of loyalty and…
From the last scene of the empress and DZ, I think she chose to commit suicide in her boudoir. Ansu the hopeless romantic killed Song Han was a blessing for him. Others might tortured and humiliated him till death.
If the Chinese had more guns, the Western colonists and the Japanese would not have occupied and humiliated them…
I initially thought DZ didn't intend to shoot-killing Prince Qing, she wanted only to disable him, brought him to justice. Death would be an easy escape for him.
If they already used guns once why stop and use swords again and then crossbows come in against swords, but yeah,…
in the drama, it was still in Ming dynasty. Such handgun was more like a prized possession. After Ming lost to Qing, it led them to collapse. Qing dynasty survived for hundred years. In the late Qing dynasty, they used handguns heavily for combatant or military purpose. Smuggling the firearms and handguns happened too. And those guns were bought from Westerner. Even though China had used gunpowder since ancient time as warfare, they didn't have technology to make handguns. That's why Qing easily fell into western colonies and Japan (who already modernized military). As far I know, initially started by Tang's trading effort, later in Ming dynasty, international trading also flourished. When we saw glasses or sunglasses in C drama costume and K-drama sageuk, that's meant westerners already penetrated the market in far east. They mostly came by the ship. When those handguns replaced the traditional weaponry (swords, saber, spear) we could say bye bye to ancient times hence welcomed the modern times. (that's why I don't really watch Ming related costume drama and avoid Qing costume drama - exception made for Blossom and Pearl Princess XD )
