FL and ML love is kinda platonic?
I have vague memory about it.
FL due to circumtances betrays him(?).
She died eventually.

Yeah, I think SFL died with her unrequited love (ML). Anyway, the reason she keep living is ML.

Prince Duan Yu and the monk survive the tribulation.

I think the author writes this novel to be a wuxia, brotherhood/bromance novel. Romance is a minor part.
But in the drama, they emphasis the romance part.

I only explained what happened in version 1997.
I must say the whole drama is kinda tragic.
So, through the journey ML find a sweetheart. FL also loves him. But reality is harsh.
In other hand. There is SFL who is obsessed with ML. By hook or crook she tries to win ML. But alas, ML only treats her as younger sister since he had his eyes on FL.
And there is a man, not worth mentioned as SML or third ML. Let's say 4th ML. Lol. He also has a crush towards SFL. His love is unconditionally. When SFL lost her sight due to incident related to ML, he without hesitant dig his eyes and
Give them to SFL. Too bad, SFL feels disgusted by 4th ML action. She detest ultimately the fact that 4th ML loves her.
So, when she learns that he donated his eyes for her, she digs it and throw them to the blind 4th ML. Again, he died while try saving SFL.
I forgot whether SFL died due to commited suicide or died in behalf of ML. Towards the end of eps, she witnessed that ML truly loves FL. Along the drama, she keeps denying the reality. It left her
heartbroken.
Fyi, I keep watching this drama only to see viciousness of SFL. Lol

I can say the drama is full of drama. But it is
still wuxia. There are a lot of fight scenes.

Noooo...please

So, Jeon Sae Yan is Lee Goon's first love?

Anyway.. The first 2 eps is a hot mess

Another decent drama with almost zero promo

They purposely made this drama lighter, keep going with so many plotholes and random scenes, nothing serious. Illogical character like YNX only exist in a C romcom drama. Act like Mary Sue but at the same time is Damsel in Distress. Well, there are many pretty decent characters in C romcom drama too.

I have just finished the first half of all episodes. So far, I think Season 2 is better than Season 1. I don't say the season 1 is bad. They are great, but S2 is even greater. There is significant improvement of this saga in S2.

Thank you!

I have just watched ep 1. I guess they use warlord / republican era setting. Nana's wardrobe is so damn adorable! they dress her up with british or french style. there were a time when British and French Concession took place in China. anyway, towards the end of Qing dynasty, many well off Chinese people more open to western culture. like, the way they dress up and behave. still western cannot change their belief.
and yes, ML is so damn like western vampire. if it follows chinese custom, then we will get ML jumping crazily like vampire in Chinese ghost story. LOL

Amy trailer?

Any trailer?

I guess I should wait Viki upload s.

I guess vampire of this drama had a sense of western vampire. This drama came at the bad time of strict censorship. As far I remember, there was Li Yi Tong (?) and Leon Zhang (?) / ZZH(?) 's drama about vampire demon.

Is there any trailer?

Impressive. After three years, it finally gets to air

Try watch 1997 version

I used to addicted to this drama. Watched it in 2000's in my childhood. Very emotional and getting on my nerves, especially in romance part😂😂😂. Great adventure drama and everybody excels in acting.

Indeed. Especially for broadcasting in PRC. Other region like HK and Taiwan don't really dub their drama. But I think I saw HK movies dubbed. Japan, Korea never dubbed their drama. Dubbing is done only for anime and foreign drama/ movie.

There are many great dramas on iqiyi
already waiting in line..

Whoa... A new poster?
