Yes, the plot is an important part. It needs to squeeze one brain to develop coherent and logic plot.
I kinda tolerant to many k dramas which have countless plotholes.

Hm, I think they, the writers, want to catch up with the time and demand. This era, people watching mostly on streaming platform, not on TV. Still we can find some k dramas retain its high quality writing. I mean, the result of enough research and deep conversation. Writing interesting dialogue is no joke.

But another Angela Zhang's drama was quite popular in my country, At The Dolphin Bay. They rebroadcasted it several times.

Arhhh me too! I grew up watching Taiwanese and Dorama. I watched this in the afternoon after school. I The channel even re broadcast it because the drama has fantastic plot. Ok, more like very well written in the right time. Nowadays I can find tons of dramas with similar ideas (long lost twin) but they are usually cringe.
