Chapter 1. I know wherever you are, single mother always had it hard. Chapter 2 is too predictable and boring. Chapter 3 is bizzare. They tease us to think, "if the costumer were beautiful and slim, would the delivery man fell for her?" They played safe by showing us that the delivery man was busy with start-up thing, thus had no time for flirting.
I agree if it gets low rating. No objection.
But I should praise the screenwriter and director who try their best to build the tension in each chapter.

Yeah, make sense. Coincidentally four of them are not that kind who indulge in flashy things. Just take the basic needs. I only hope they adorn Pei Xijun with more Tang's fashion style. She is a minister's daughter after all.

Only a few actors dub their own characters in c drama/movie. The rest is using voice actor. It is a common practice. I think it is not always because they have bad pronunciation. Sometimes their voice tone don't match the character. I. e, woman's natural high pitch voice may not suitable for a character as a calm wise young lady.
Some actors just have bad pronunciation in std mandarin language.



Some professional actors may took vocal coaching class. Usually they can control/adjut their voice to fit the character.
Or they just learn by independently.

But, some actors may think there is no need to take vocal coaching.

Yeah. Only well off people can afford to study at Lasalle. I heard the tuition is paid based on US dollar currency. I bet she is rich but not to the extent of conglomerate family.
Anyway, I think there are plenty of C actors who are hailed from rich background. Many of them graduated from foreign college too.
Being rich has advantages, like, they can easily (pay to) take acting class or any course to enhance their skills. Or build connection by gratification.
But there is no easy job in the world. Everything comes with a 'price'.
I think Esther is a smart hardworking girl and ambitious.

Yes, I have just finished ep 6. Damn, this is only the beginning.

If my memory serves right, in ep 1 he said to his subordinate : "don't let Xijun knows that I went to Mrs. Ma's house". LOL

He can't escape! Lol. And his eyes shows desperation whenever he sees Lu Ling Feng's ignorance. "Can't you read situation?!". Su Wuming often saves the day with his wits.

Are they still filming?

Pei Xijun insist to cling onto him. Meanwhile that arrogant Lu Lingfeng doesn't know how to express his affection, yet. Him taking her into one roof is a big leap of progress. Isn't she his fiancee?

From S1 to S2 we still see that Su Wuming is in deep agony. Lol. Squeezing his brain on how to compromise, to satisfy both The Grand Princess and The Crown Prince who are on the opposite sides.

The setting is splendour. They really paid attention to the detail. But they still choose modest attire for the four main leads.

Don't you think the first case is dragged? I have just finished four episodes. They have not close the case yet. I bet it will be closed in ep fifth or sixth.
But the first case is still great indeed! Unpredictable as usual. You should watch carefully to not miss any clue.

Finally! After the long waiting. It is incredible that they retain all the main cast.

In the 1st ep there was a short scene of Qiao and Duan Chu having a wedding. But it was in Qiao's one sided imagination
